We brought our daughter,son-in-law, and 2 grandchildren under age 2 for a family vacation and had a marvelous time. The weather was perfect and the home was spacious, clean, and well stocked with pretty much anything needed. I would highly recommend this home and was pleased with the quick responsiveness in all of my email and text correspondences. My only recommendation would be for families bringing toddlers that a gate may be helpful in keeping the little ones in the family area and not trying to go down the steps...overall though the we were very comfortable and that was a minor detail. A+ week at the beach!

Our family of 4 had an excellent stay at Hattie Creef!
The rental worked perfectly for us. Places to hang on every level with options if rain or shine. Nice view of the ocean from the widows peak. Fully stocked with amenities. Very clean! Perfectly decorated. Easy walk to the beach, which was never crowded. Avalon Pier at the end of the road for fishing, entertainment, food or drinks. Great restaurant (Awful Arthur’s) for eat in or take out near by, too. Great location for day trips in either direction. Owners were very responsive and easy to communicate with. We hope to come back!

We had a wonderful stay on our first trip to the area. The house was immaculate and well stocked, and in a wonderful location to walk to the beach and Avalon Pier. Henry was fantastic and we can't wait to return!

This was the cleanest place I have ever stayed. The layout of the house was great I loved the kitchen and living on the top floor. The views were amazing. The location was perfect. Henry was very responsive and so accommodating. Would highly recommend this vacation rental.

10/10, very clean and spacious. The weather was pretty unlucky when we stayed there, however, the property was very nice making being stuck inside most of the time quite pleasant.

We spent a week here and the place was amazing! Very clean and had everything you would need to feel at home for a week at the beach. Check-in process was very easy and Henry was incredibly helpful with everything. He had fantastic suggestions! Overall very pleased and would stay here again.

First time to OBX and this house made me and my family already discuss a return trip ..... easy walk to beach, beautiful house full of cool plants and light up palm trees --- the roof deck was peaceful and serene for sunrise and sunset, and the outdoor shower was a nice touch ..... wouldn't change a thing. Book with confidence and enjoy your stay!!!

This house is a great place to stay and is located perfectly for easy access to the beach, stores, restaurants and activities. The house was clean and loaded with just about everything you need for a fun week ahead. I recommend this house totally and would go back again.

We loved staying here! It was very easy for us to hang out outside the whole week because of the “outdoor living room”. The house itself was immaculate and the living room/kitchen was open and bright. Several decks to choose from with incredible views and the location was perfect. Loved being able to walk to Avalon pier. One of our favorite stays in the OBX!

Beautiful cottage close to beach
We stayed at Hattie Creek as a family of six and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was super clean and more amazing than the pics. The decks were beautiful especially at night to view the sunset. Being so close to the beach but yet close to stores & restaurants was perfect for us. Henry thought of literally everything so we were just able to enjoy. Thanks again for having us! We hope to see you again soon :)

Hattie’s Creef
Beautiful, very clean, and plenty of space to spread out and enjoy! Well-stocked with linens, paper products, beach towels/chairs, etc. Communication with the owner was nothing but superb!

Fantastic OBX house
We had an awesome time at Hattie Creff in Kill Devil Hills. Henry the owner was extremely responsive to questions via text. The house is immaculate, spacious, bright, centrally located, and about 8 houses in from the beach access. Great views from the *several* outdoor decks. Updated appliances. Comfy sectional couch in the upstairs great room. Plenty of linens and beach supplies. All you really need to bring is your clothing, sunblock, and food.

The kitchen and den area are spacious, and there are plenty of kitchen items to use if you want to prepare your own meals and snacks. The views from the balconies are so relaxing. Henry was really responsive and professional. He handled all of our questions. The location is close to many beaches, including good surfing spots, and including a very short walk to the beach at Avalon Pier. We really loved our stay and highly recommmed this beach house!!!

Great place, great stay!
This was a great time in a great place. House was very clean and comfortable and in a great location just a short walk to the Avalon Fishing Pier. It had all of the amenities we could need and was close to stores, restaurants and activities. The owner was super friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting OBX.

Great stay in Kill Devil Hills
Henry's place was great -- even better than the photos! Walking distance to the beach and Awful Arthur's oyster bar, as well as the Avalon Pier. Plus, great beach views from the decks. The home was super clean and no issues. If we're ever back in OBX, we'll definitely be staying here again!

This home was absolutely wonderful and perfect for my family of 4. We enjoyed the multiple balconies and proximity to the beach. The amenities make it very convenient to pick up and go day after day.

Great Stay
Great property! Loved the garage hangout space and the living room/kitchen area. Lots of nice outdoor space too! Right down the street from Avalon pier. Easy walk to the beach. Would stay again!

A Nice Little Place
A good little place, close to the beach with very easy access just a short walk down the road the property is located on. The main floor is nice and open with room for half a dozen people easily. The bedrooms feel a little small with the furniture, but with the location of the house and the main floor the only time you'll be in the bedrooms is to change or sleep. The property also provides several beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys. The multi-level decks are enjoyable as well.

Relaxing Beach Weekend
Great location! Close to all of your needs. Avalon Pier for fishing. Awful Arthur’s for takeout. Chips for beer & wine. And Front Porch for coffee and pastries. Will definitely stay here again. Thoroughly enjoyed all of the outdoor space, the decks were so nice to hang out on. Back yard had a picnic table with afternoon shade.

Our family really enjoyed staying at this property. The house was very clean and had all the essentials we needed. The garage was a great place to hang out at nights and perfect for packing/unpacking from our beach trips. There are great views of the ocean from the top deck and it is a short walk to the beach, Avalon Pier, and Awful Arthurs. We would definitely stay at the Hattie Creef again!

The house was absolutely beautiful, clean, and. spacious. Very well thought out house for a whole family. Even the garage/day hangout was very nice with large TV, fridge, bar, couches etc. especially with both doors open. But the best place was the rooftop deck, you can see for miles, with a ocean view too! Very highly recommend, as we also had great communication with the owner. Two thumbs up!!!

We were blown away by the cleanliness and condition of this exceptional home!!! It had everything we needed and then some!!! The variety of deck space provided outdoor leisure at any time of day and the garage entertainment area was enjoyable at night for games and family time. Communication with the owner was on point and our questions were answered within minutes. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property!!!
