This home was perfect! Super clean, amazing location, classically and beautifully decorated. We packed light for the ferry ride, but the home had everything we needed after a trip to the Maritime Market to get some groceries. This home is well cared for and I can tell well loved. Thank you for the great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. House was perfect. Fully stocked kitchen, clean, perfect location to the beach. We would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I, our two small kids and my dad all enjoyed our week staying at Sandcastle by the Sea. The house was spotless and provided the perfect place to relax and enjoy each others company. Our kids loves all of the toys and art supplies, not to mention zipping around on the golf cart. The location to the beach could not have been more ideal, just a few steps away on a fairly new walkway. We also appreciated the nicely appointed appliances, i.e. the coffee maker and washer/dryer…….both a must have with small kids 😀. We will definitely be coming back to Bald Head Island and hopefully Sandcastle by the Sea.

We just returned from a wonderful visit to BHI. This home is in a great location, well stocked with all the beach amenities, and overall comfortable and inviting. Our family of four felt right at home in this charming beach cottage. Kim was very responsive and helpful!

We rented this property over Thanksgiving to accommodate family overflow. It is a great location just steps from the beach. It is beautifully decorated and has a well stocked kitchen for cooking. The large porch was lovely.

We had a great time and really enjoyed the house during a long weekend for fall break - it was the perfect size for our family and very comfortable, and it's in a great location on the island. Everything we needed was there, and it's a very short, easy walk to the beach. All this winter, I'm going to remember sitting on the porch with coffee early in the morning, the only sound being waves lazily breaking on the shore just over the dunes - what a way to start the day!

The house was a great location and fit our family perfectly well. There was a great amount of kids gear for our infant and toys for our 4 year old too. The owner was very responsive and provided any info we requested. Highly recommend!

We had the best week at Sandcastle by the Sea. The kids were obsessed with beach toys, kites, and board games! The golf cart was the fastest on the island and bikes were like brand new. Such a lovely vacation with the beach just steps away!

What a great rental property! Everything was so clean, the kitchen was well appointed, the beds were comfortable, and the access to the beach was amazing! We really enjoyed walking on the beach every single night. The porch was relaxing and the golf cart was the fastest on the island. The garage was filled with bikes, shibumi shades, chairs and beach toys. Thank you Kim for such a great stay! Would rent here again.

This is a lovely beach cottage that fit our family of four perfectly. We enjoyed relaxing and a lot of beach time as a family. The Sandcastle was appointed with everything our family needed for the week and Kim was responsive and easy to communicate with if we needed anything. We greatly appreciated the golf cart, bikes, and boogey boards in the garage! We hope to return to the Sandcastle again and would recommend it for a smaller family who loves the beach!

The house was exactly as listed. Very clean and neat. It had everything we needed, grill, bicycles, beach chairs. We were on island for a wedding. Three other families stayed in Flora’s Bluff. It was great to be close together.

Sandcastle was wonderful - beautiful location close to the Market, BHI Club and a prsitine beach. A new, comfortable golf cart made getting around easy.

We came down from New England and met friends from Raleigh Durham. We’ve been to Bald Head a few times before. The house was very comfortable and in very good condition. Kim was very responsive.

The house was beautiful and location was perfect, so close to the beach. The renovated kitchen and baths were a nice bonus. Checkin was easy and seamless. Would definitely stay here again!

Flora's Bluff was wonderful. This was our 6th trip to the island and of all the places we've stayed, I think this was my favorite. Top notch interior -- appliances, furnishings, everything. The private walk-out to the beach was perfect for kids who were able to roam a bit more freely as a result. The owner was responsive and caring. And the kids loved that we had the fastest golf cart on the island :) Well done, Flora's Bluff. Looking forward to our next visit.

This house is in a perfect location. It fit our family of 5 (2 adults, three kids) perfectly. We loved being steps from the beach and a short cart ride to stores, ice cream and BHI club.
