Very Modern & Clean

This was the most beautiful experience, the house was gorgeous and well exceeded our expectations, spotlessly clean, beautiful decor, modern appliances and so much room for a large family. There was everything we needed for cooking large meals and barbecues. The kids were overwhelmed with how wonderful everything was which made us very happy. The staff were so friendly and just next door in the restaurant if you needed anything Definitely would book again.

Was an exceptional stay, though not many places for children on foot from the accommodation so a lot of driving during the week. Lots of beautiful views though!

An excellent location in a lovely village with a great Italian restaurant next door! The house is a delight, modern, spacious with everything you need plus extra touches like milk & juice in the fridge, tea, coffee, sugar and chocolates on the pillows. We had a fabulous time

Can’t think of anything to improve our stay

Piotr and Lydia not only looked after us well in the house, but also in their excellent restaurant next door. Never has a decent pint been so close!

The property was perfect for us. Location was great as very close to Longleat. It was spacious, modern and beautifully decorated. Lovely outdoors space as well. The whole family loved it!Restaurant next doors was delicious as well.

It was a little too warm with the underfloor heating, but the owners came over to sort this out.

Lovely comfortable accommodation. Great location for tourist attractions like Longleat, Stourhead and Bath. The provision of breakfast cereals, tea, coffee, milk etc were a bonus. Everything we needed for a lovely holiday.

Nothing we didn't like.

Communication was easy before the booking and picking up the keys from the very friendly staff at La Campagna was the same. The house was spotlessly clean and there was more space than we anticipated which was great. We had an issue with the thermostat and Piotr could not have done more to resolve this quickly for us. He also arranged for some fish to be cooked each evening for our unwell puppy. We really were looked after. We ate in the pub on our first night and had a takeaway on the second night. The food was so nice and getting a discount for just collecting it, was a welcome surprise. You really don’t need to cook in the house as you have everything you could want at La Campagna. The house is in a great location. We visited Stourhead and Frome market and my husband was easily able to get to Bath for a business meeting.

The house was fabulous and the restaurant next door served great food. Great as a base to go to Longleat, Bath etc.

My friends and I had such a great weekend! The house is amazing, and suited us perfectly! The house is beautifully decorated with all the amenities you need and more. The bedding especially is so comfortable, best nights sleep in a long time. They were so accommodating throughout and even brought in our order from the restaurant next door for us to enjoy in the house. Looking forward to booking again some time again in the future.

There’s nothing we didn’t like. Can’t fault it.

Great from start to finish

Perfect for a family or a family and friends staying together close to beautiful countryside, Bath and Longleat. Handy having the restaurant next door (although we didn’t eat there) we did stop in for a drink. The house it’s self was very clean and beautifully decorated.

Everything seem to have been though of with essentials in the fridge and tea coffee and breakfast provisions but No dish cloth for wiping down after cooking. For the size of house could do with a few more plates, salad bowl, etc. Nothing major and didn’t detract from our stay.

From the time of booking the communication between piotr and ourselves was great. He responded very quickly to any queries we had. On arrival we were shown around and we were amazed at how everything had all been so well thought out. We had chocolates and toiletries in each room. An array of cereals, biscuits, tea and coffee. In the fridge we had a complimentary bottle of milk, orange juice and bottled waters (a lovely touch!) All modern facilities which were kept very clean. An excellent pit stop to longleat (the reason for our stay) which was around 5 minute drive, perfect after a long day out! We ordered food on our last night from the attached restaurant (La campagna) what can I say.... FANTASTIC- the food was out of this world! The quality and presentation were amazing! We had our meal brought round on plates so we were literally able to tuck in. We then couldn't resist pudding! Again amazing! If you are looking for somewhere to stay I would 100% recommend here for a modern break away. 😃 We shall definitely be coming back for our next break away to Longleat! Thanks again all.

There are no shops in the village so you have to remember to bring supplies.

Super comfortable, well equipped and designed cottage. Lovely location, with a great suntrap garden! Cereals, milk, and orange juice left for breakfast which was a lovely touch.

Right next to the pub garden which can be a little loud at times, but definitely not a major issue
