We loved every minute in our home away from home. The owner was super friendly and available whenever we reached out with questions. The place looks brand new. Everything is super clean and updated. The teens had fun on the fuse ball table and board games and We loved the washer/dryer, pool and spa amenities. There were TV’s in every room and several extra roll always if needed. Thank for providing extra pillows and blankets as well! We will be back next time in San Antonio!

We loved our time at the Aspen Ray Lodge! We had extended family stay for 5 nights over Christmas and had a wonderful time. Plenty of room to gather, play and sleep with a large kitchen and Christmas decorations! Marty and Merilee were wonderful and attentive. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend.

The property is located in a small, secluded canyon. The cabin was larger than it looked in the photos. Our youth group of ~30 fit very comfortably. Outdoor amenities are nearly endless--basketball court, sand volleyball court, 2 horseshoe pits, campfire ring, corn hole, frisbee, hot tub, etc. We had a wonderful time.

We absolutely loved our time here. It was very relaxing and had all the amenities for a wonderful stay! We enjoyed roasting hotdogs over the fire and yard games and hot tub under the stars!! Beautiful and spacious! The kitchen setup was amazing! We’d love to come back again!

We thoroughly enjoyed using this home for our work retreat. This property and space worked perfectly for both our team and clients. This is an excellent space for large groups and we appreciate all the extra work that went into prepping the home for our stay.

Ours was a 4 generation family group of 49 people age 1 to 91. There were fun indoor and outdoor activities available on the property, which is remote enough that our large group wouldn't disturb others but close enough to stores, parks etc. We prepared all of our meals in the kitchen which had the space for all our supplies. There is ample seating to eat both indoors and out on the large covered deck. We also loved the outdoor 'amphitheater' for our large to all gather for devotional or activities. Thanks

We had our family reunion here and it was fantastic! The location is so gorgeous! It was quiet and out of the way, but really close to town. The host was gracious and really pleasant to work with. It had everything we needed and more. Highly recommended!

Great time and great stay. Cabin was BETTER then images shown. There was more amenities than was shown on the images. Basketball hoops, horseshoes, sand volleyball, and fire pit. Great surprise. The cabin itself was nicer and more upgraded then images shown. Happy constructive suggestion improve images and provide a layout map of the bedrooms for planning purposes. Only negative was the later than desired check in. 4 pm is pretty late for a check-in. Almost seems like the first day is a bit of a waste. All in all 5 star positive experience.

We were treated in a disrespectful manor by the staff at this VRBO. We were told that we were not supervising our students. We were accused of lying about an incident that endangered two of our students while we were staying at this house. Our students were accused on "jumping up and down" on a stair banister because that is what "teenage boys do". While we had two adults and three students in the dining area of this house, two boys were leaning against a stair banister. The banister collapsed behind them. Luckily, the two boys did not fall down the stairwell. We took pictures of the damage. The railing looked like it had been repaired previous to our trip. The property manager told me that it had been recently worked on. The rail was held together by four small screws, and there was no splintering at the wood to show that they had been bent. The bottom of the rail was held by very small wood dowel pins. Some of these did shear off, but the ones that remained were not glued in and could be taken out of their holes without effort. I believe we are being blamed for a poor repair job done by the property care taker. We will be charged for the repair of this railing, which is unfortunate. What is fortunate is that our students were able to catch their balance and not fall down the stairs.

We had a wonderful family reunion with family members ranging in age from 18 months to 86 years. This venue hosted everyone comfortably. Toddler's safety and entertainment are often overlooked and this venue stands out because it was so child friendly. The large play areas for basketball and volleyball and lawn games were loved by teens and adults. The bathrooms and bedrooms were so clean and comfortable. We loved the large kitchen and dining areas. There was plenty of fridge and freezer space as well as counter space to feed our group of 31. We also liked the fact that we were surrounded by agriculture and beautiful scenery and didn't have to worry about disturbing other guests. This is the best reunion venue our family has ever used.

I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay here. Its such a beautiful property with so many things to do. The kids ages 3 to 15 had a blast playing outside on the swings, basketball court, soccer goals and just playing in the yard. There was enough space for all 28 of us to eat and gather together in the main rooms and basement. We really appreciated the little touches that were unexpected. Including first aid kit, baggies, shampoo and conditioner and a little store by honor system that contained things one might forget at home or run out of. Communication was great. We will definitely be staying here again but next time it'll have to be more that 2 days!!!

This cabin is in a beautiful location and had a lot of amenities for our group! There were a few hiccups along the way but the owners took care of them immediately! We had a great time during our stay! We were grateful we found this place!
