I travel frequently to DR and have done VRbo, B&B, hotels on the beach, apartments in City, etc. The listing is not what you Get - this listing was extremely expensive for what you were getting. Even though the apartment was modest in updates- the building itself in horrible conditions. I got it because it was near my location and amenities BUT no amenities - the gym was non- existent. The machines did not work, the weights were missing and the treadmill was broken - the pool was disgusting and we did not use it. It wasn’t cleaned for 1 of the days and with COVID and lack of maintenance we decided not to Use it. There was a washer and dryer in the closet but you had to pay extra to use. I have never seen that - pay for extra electricity yes but not pay extra to the property manager if I wanted to use it. The apartment is actually 3 bedrooms but they only rent as a 2 bedroom and keep it close - the master bedroom barely fits a queen - the other bedroom which Has 2 beds - AC did not work. The garbage that you took out yourself was left for more than 1 day which made the parking area smell. The garage needs lighting ( no lights as you Go up) and isolated - the walls and elevator and overall co diction of the building. Along with not having the amenities is definitely not worth it. Also the WIFI was not very reliable when I Needed it for a meeting. You Are definitely not paying for what you See or say in the listing.
