Spacious, open concept with view of the lake. Relaxing with great options for recreation . We kayaked. Used the hot tub . Fire pit. Enjoyed the beach . Hosts were very responsive to questions while we stayed. We would return !]

We enjoyed our stay. The house was huge with plenty of space and fun things to do. Stores are close and the "beach" is a short walk away. 10/10 would recommend

We enjoyed our stay at the house. It was nice and quiet and we saw a lot of deer, wild turkeys, a fox and a flock of geese on the lake.The rooms were a nice size & clean. The deck was wonderful with plenty of tables and chairs & umbrellas. The dining area had 2 nice tables, one for 8 people and one for 6. The furniture in the living areas was very comfortable with plenty of seating room. The hot tub was very relaxing and the fire pit was enjoyed by all 8 of us. The games downstairs were a lot of fun. A few suggestions would be to provide bath mats and kitchen towels & 4 slice toaster. Some negatives were the dishwasher did not work so we had to wash dishes for 8 people every day. The refrigerator ice maker made some crushed ice, no cubes and the water dispenser just dribbled. But the owner left us a bag of ice so that was nice. We found some fry pans & cookie sheets were put away full of grease. Cookie sheets need replacing. We were disappointed that we could not use the kayaks since the boat landing was far away and we did not have a vehicle to take them over to landing.The TVs were hard to figure out how to use since the colored stickers on the remotes were missing on all but one remote in the main living room. The kitchen faucet had the hot & cold water reversed & the faucet itself was very loose.

We had a great time at this resort home. Can I say “fishing was great!” enough? Literally cast, wait 3P seconds, reel in a fish. My older children enjoyed the kayaks and beach. Playground was a 30 second walk. S’mores in the evening all NF with a nice soak in the hot tub. This place is a diamond in the rough. Several things need repaired and it could use some paint. Water pressure was a bit low and the refrigerator ice maker and water dispenser didn’t work. Also, not enough towels left for our party, but a quick trip to dollar general resolved that. If you enjoy watching deer out the window with your morning coffee, outstanding fishing, kayaking and hiking in the nearby 10,000 plus acres of state lands, this place is for you. This will be a memorable family trip for years to come.

First, the good - - The house is large and well decorated. It doesn't feel generic - the host clearly put a lot of thought and work into the decor. - The game room is very cool - lots of fun there. - The beach is really close; just a walk through the woods - The basketball court and volleyball court next to the beach were awesome. - The lake the property is on is very pretty and peaceful - There's lots to do within 30 minutes. - The host was very responsive to messages The not so good: - There's some wear and tear - it feel like it was probably amazing for the first few years renting, but all the visitors have taken their toll. Examples: - Both upstairs and downstairs fridge doors only had one storage shelf. - The bunk bed downstairs was so noisy that it couldn't be used. - The pool table was the most stained I have ever seen. - The hot tub had not been cleaned before we arrived and was filled with a disgusting slime growth throughout. I messaged the host and she got someone out there the same day. After cleaning and refilling, the water still appear hazy and yellow, so no one was comfortable using it. - As the other reviews mention, the HOA is very aggressive in policing perceived violations. - 2 of the kayaks were not usable - they were filled with rainwater and covered in spiders/slugs/dirt. - The boat launch is a good .25 miles - not "close" It's a good house, but there are definitely issues. I'd give a 3.5 if I could.

We had a wonderful week with our family. We had plenty of room and the downstairs game room was a hit. The location next to the lake was perfect. Ashleigh was very responsive to all our needs. It was very much appreciated.

It was nice stay with family. Was disappointed with the microwave glass taped in and no propane in grill. Would have liked better description of hoa rules and high fines before renting. Over all was good and liked having towels, sheets and paper supplies furnished. Would have given a 5 except for these few things. Enjoyed.

The property is beautiful and the hosts were responsive and on top of it! Would happily stay here again and recommend to a friend.

House was the right size for our family. Plenty of space, bedrooms and baths. Kids loved the game room in the basement. House was clean, but does need several things to be fixed or tending to. Loved being close to the lake, playground and beach. Saw deer and other wildlife from morning to night. Friday night people playing basketball at the court and yelling and playing music loudly after midnight. Security called and they dealt with issue. Great place, plenty to do.

It was such a treat not only to have the linens included, but to have all the beds made! At the same time, we were charged an extra $100 for having a 14th person, even though the listing clearly said charges were for more than 14. Even though the swimming access was right next door, the boat access was either a long walk or a short drive away, which was far less relaxing than we had hoped for this "lake vacation." The listing said a canoe was waiting for us by the dock, but there was none there, and the owner confirmed by text we wouldn't be having one. Overall, the stay was great, but the little surprises made it not a five-star stay.

It was great Putting the kayaks in was a problem since we had to drive them over in a truck (but what if we didn’t have one). Could we store them over at launch? Wildlife was exciting for the kids. Hot tub was a hit. Outside railings and deck need attention. All in all we loved it!!

My family and I had a great time. The house is to die for. We will definitely book again.

We had a great stay for my husband's 40th birthday. The game room was great, and everyone enjoyed the shuffleboard table. The house and rooms were spacious, and everything was provided that we needed. The lake was beautiful, and the hot tub and fire pit provided the relaxation that everyone needed. The only issue that we had was that security came by because one of our guests left a chair down by the lake and apparently there are no chairs allowed down by the lake. We were unaware of this, as the sign only said: "no boats." So just be aware of this. It wasn't a big deal but just saying it to avoid any issues going forward. The area itself was great and close to several activities. We enjoyed visiting Barley Creek Brewery (the pub site at the outlets) and we also went to Splinters Hatchet and Axe Throwing. Both were only about 20-25 drive from the house. We would definitely stay here again for another kid-free weekend with friends and family (although the house seemed great for kids as well). Thanks for the memories!

We really enjoyed the layout of the house. There were plenty of bedrooms and they were spread out enough to allow privacy for different families. The hot tub worked perfect and the game room was a hit. Our only suggestion is to have the fussball table fixed, as there is a “guy” missing on the one side close to the goal. We made due, and the family had a wonderful time.

We had an amazing weekend celebrating at this house. Everything was as described and the place was very clean. We enjoyed the the hot tub and game room and lovely views of the lake.

Me, my family and my daughters friends had a great time here. It was her birthday and we wanted everything to be perfect. We were pleased with the stay and she was very happy.

The house and its’ amenities were perfect for our group of 15, with 9 kids ages ranging from 6-15. It is located directly next to a park on a lake. We were able to watch our children play from the house which was a huge bonus. The house could use some freshening up, but overall we loved our stay and would rent again.

The house had plenty of room for a 15 adults to relax, hang, and play games. The down stairs game room was fully stocked with plenty to do. The hot tub was dumped and cleaned before arriving. The bedrooms are very spacious and perfect for couples. The kitchen was stocked to support with cooking in. Loved the view of the lake and was easy to get into the community with ample room to park 7 cars. Would recommend to others.

We had a great stay at this property. The house has lots of things to do with all kinds of games. The hot tub was really nice especially with a lake view! The HOA was VERY intense but the owners were helpful and made things easy to deal with. This was definitely our favorite house we’ve stayed at!

Wonderful location for the women in the family to have a fun weekend. Lots of space and lots to choose from for everyone to do. Could not ask for a better location. Home has lots of space to spread out. And lots of fun things to do without leaving. The phone booth was awesome.

The property had an array of things to do, games, pool, air hockey, hot tub. Things could use a little updating though. But all in all we had a wonderful time.

This is the 2nd year we have spent Christmas here and once again it did not disappoint! House was clean, spacious enough for the 12 of us and plenty to do. Great game room and hot tub! Thank you for hosting us!

We had a few families getting together to ski and just hang out. I’m so glad we chose this house! It was a perfect layout with plenty of space and close to skiing and parks. Had all amenities and was clean and easy check in. Overall, great stay and would rent again.

Very nice weekend had by all. Smoke alarms need new batteries. Keurig coffee maker was leaking water.

For the longest time we discussed a family weekend away & this turned out to be the perfect get away. The house and surrounding property are spacious & clean. Kitchen is truly equipped with everything you need to cook for a large group- 15 of us. Bedrooms were clean & comfortable. And the game room was perfect for the kids & adults alike! Outside fire pit & chairs proved perfect for s’mores on a chilly October evening. We will most definitely be back.

This house has lots of room to spread out. We really enjoyed watching the deer walk through the back yard several times.

This large lakeside home was perfect for our extended family of 5 adults and three kids aged 4, 8 and 13. The house could accomodated many more guests but suited us very well with lots of room to spread out, bedrooms for everyone, a great game room, a well stocked kitchen, and a variety of outdoor balls, tubes, and kayaks. The location, which was steps away from the beach, playground, basketball and volley ball court was ideal. The house was very clean, everything worked well, and we had no need to contact the owners to fix, replace or purchase anything. Everything we wanted and needed was there for us making for a great 7 day vacation.
