WOW. What an amazing place. We had a smaller group due to some last-minute cancellations but this house could easily sleep 30 people. It’s HUGE and the location is unbeatable. Right on the best part of the beach (sandy, fewer rocks) and right next to several surf schools if you want lessons! The house is fairly well stocked. Not luxury cooking equipment and the knives could use sharpening. Also, only windows in two of the 16 rooms which felt a little off but ultimately we didn’t spend much time in our rooms.
We stayed for 7 days and 6 nights and had a blast. The pool is SO nice. Again, the location is great. Ubers are cheap to town but you can also walk super easily if you’re able-bodied. Best of all was the staff. Erika(our main girl❤️), Tia, Kat, Matt, Dania, Kevin and Julio, and many more all took care of us from the weeks leading up to the trip, on-site helping us make reservations and with a few maintenance needs (literally fixed within minutes). Kevin, the guard/gatekeeper was so kind and great (it’s not unsafe but it was very nice to have a friendly face when you got home super late after the bars!). Dania always left our rooms sparkling every day. She even started to pick up on our habits (which pillows and blankets on which side of the bed) by like the 3rd day. We came to CR with heavy hearts after some recent family news and we had an amazing time connecting with each other and experiencing the Pura Vida.
Overall this was an amazing experience and the staff made it even better.

We had an amazing time at Casa Dulce Grande! Tia, David, and the entire crew were super friendly and helpful. The location on South Beach is perfect! We loved walking right outside the gate to the beautiful beach and surfing at Sunrise Surf School. We will definitely be back!

Our group was 20 people - mixture of younger kids, teenagers and adults. The house had tons of private rooms and bathrooms, had a pool, was in a great location (right on the beach) and next to an awesome bar! There was something for everybody. We got great service from property management who helped us with everything from grocery shopping, to scheduling surf lessons, yoga and massages. We had a great time and so did the kids!
