Loved this house. Very roomy, great layout. Our family of 5 adults enjoyed our stay while visiting other family who live in the area. Loved the lanai and that the house is pet friendly. Just be careful of the very busy road! Great communication with owner. Would return to this home.

This was our first ever family vacation and we loved the house and the convenient location to all the wonderful beaches. The house was everything we needed and wanted. The property manager was the sweetest ever. Thank you for such a wonderful vacation. It was the best Christmas present for all of us!!!

The house was lovely. We arrived about a month after hurricane Ian and Lynda did everything she could to make our stay comfortable despite some repairs that could not be made due to access to resources (some windows were boarded up). She was easily contacted through VRBO and responded quickly to any concern. The property is well kept and clean. Some things renters may wish to know: lots of golf right outside your front door- Lynda has even provided clubs if you didn't bring yours. There are kayaks, beach chairs, beach towels and kids sand toys available for guest use too. The pool is heated. It maxed out at 78 when we were there, which the kids found a little cold- we never inquired to see if it could be turned higher. Coffee maker takes Keurig pods, or there is a small 5 cup coffee maker. We had a great time. Most amenities (shopping, grocery, beach, restaurants, park) are within a 20 minute or so drive.

We can only stay there 2 days due to the Hurricane. Windows was busted ,house was destroyed. Can we get some money back?

The house was exactly as described in the listing. Kitchen had everything we needed. The location was awesome, beach was close, and best of all it was only 1.5 miles to my daughters. The house was GREAT!!

We came from Iowa to Florida to "beach hop" for a week. This house was a perfect location to do just that. 5 different beaches in 5 days all within a 45 minute drive. A few being less than a 10 minute drive. House was very comfortable. Our four daughters loved it all.

Upon arrival, we found the house more spacious than the photos could convey. The home was clean and had everything we needed (dishes, pots, towels etc). Communication with the owner was easy. We spent all of our free time in the pool and fishing. My son caught an alligator gar and two big bass in addition to some small fish. If you’re lucky, there are some very LARGE fish in that canal. At least two alligators came to visit us daily, never on land. The beaches are close by and we visited Englewood, Manasota Key, Stump Pass and Blind Pass. If you’re able to go, there is a drum circle every Sunday at sunset at Englewood Beach. Barb and Ken’s, and Sandbar Tiki and grill were our two favorite dinner spots. There are grocery stores and a Walmart close by for all your shopping needs. Who can complain about a clean, fully stocked house with a refreshing pool out back? Beautiful home, great neighborhood, close to lots of activities, stores, and restaurants. Host was welcoming and quick to reply to questions. The pool was a favorite by the entire family!

We had the best time on our vacation and staying here was a huge part of it. The house was clean upon arrival and ready for us to enjoy. It’s close to the beaches, shopping and restaurants. The beds are extremely comfortable, which is a big plus. We enjoyed watching the birds from the porch and the outside fire pit was very nice to sit by after swimming in the evening. We even made s’mores over the fire. We can’t say enough about this lovely home. We hope to be back soon. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Our daughters were turning 16 and 17 while on our vacation so they each brought a friend with them. So we filled the house with my husband, my self, and 4 teenage girls. The photos didn’t do the house enough justice as the layout and aesthetics were both wonderful. The master suite was a perfect get away for my husband and I when we needed time away from the girls craziness. Having two large living room spaces was also another added bonus! The property manger was quick to respond when we couldn’t figure out the WiFi upon arrival and other then that we were happy not to be bothered as in past experience the property managers of other rentals have been very nosey. My husband loved getting up early to fish off the dock out back in the canal and we even got to experience seeing large turtles and alligators both of which never bothered us as we drank our coffee out their every morning. The neighborhood made me feel safe with the girls and the home had enough parking for both of our cars and then plenty of room to spare. At times the house got a little warm but I believe that was a user error on us with the central a.c. the patio was another popular spot for meals that we loved along with the fireplace. My only concern was the pool area cement seemed to be deteriorating slightly and brought in a lot of dirt along with the pump on the pool didn’t seem to be working, although the pool stayed in decent condition while we were there. And obviously this has nothing to do with the property but the “noseeums” where horrible with their bites/sting so be sure to bring bug spray if your gonna be outdoors a lot like we were. Otherwise I highly recommend this rental!

The downside of the house is that the canal is not really swim friendly due to alligators being in there (which is to be expected) and there was no kayaks available (I assumed there would be, but we realized after the fact that we would have to rent). The cleanliness of the house could have been improved, but nothing too major that prevented us from enjoying out stay. My parents chose this location to snoop around for houses but as far as the location goes, Rotonda West is a little too far from things like bars, restuarants, and beaches for our taste. The pool was a nice addition after a long day at the beach or boating! Overall we enoyed our stay. Thank you!

My only issues were a live security camera in the unit and not being told about it upfront. Guests should know this before entering the property. We unplugged it as owner said that is fine to do. Cable channels were bare minimum. Saying this place has cable is a little bit of a stretch, but not inaccurate. Except for some old food and cigars in the fridge/pantry everything else was clean and came as advertised. Rotunda proved to be a great location for all the beaches nearby. I'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property. Towels a plenty too!
