There were a few issues but overall the accommodation was as expected, as I've stayed there before. I wasn't happy with the new coded entrance system but only because there was no back up if I had problems, which I did on the first night. I was also surprised to be charged so much as I expected a discount for being a genius customer. I certainly would not have booked it at £88 per night without breakfast, which is how much it cost in the end. However, that is an issue with you not the accommodation. I may have to think about moving to another booking site.

No Internet. There is supposed to be two different networks, but was told that both were down and would be fixed (and were not during my stay), so I spent 4 nights without a WiFi connection, which costs me money as I work online. It's a shame, as there is a nice little 'study' with a desk. Also it was absolutely and literally freezing. Heating only seemed to go on after 9 am and was switched off in the evening. There appeared to be no thermostat, just on and off for the radiator. I thought about buying a portable heater it was so cold. Would be a lovely place to stay in the summer, but it appears I was unlucky staying during the coldest spell of the winter, and with no Internet connection. For the price (and rating), you would expect both decent heating and a working Internet connection.

Weather was cold and stormy. Thermostatic valves on all radiators, though they all turned off when I left the property and removed the keycard, hence room was cold on return. The radiators also operated on a timer, so they switched off overnight. Hence most of the time, if not snuggled up under the duvet the room was cold/freezing.

This is probably (for us) the best hotel in Hastings 😍 Situated between the Old Town and Town Center. We had the room with balcony. It has the best view. Downstairs there is the fish and chips shop. 🤤 We enjoyed breakfast at the Cornish Bakery and at Petit Fi. Evenings in Ye Old Pump House, and around the corner The Jenny Lind. All within walking distance.

Would have appreciated body wash, conditioner and shampoo sachets. Perhaps some little snacks etc
