The best part was to walk on the beach to a cute coffee shop with is right on the beach!

The place was very clean upon arrival. It was roomy and had a ton of storage for us to unpack and not live out of our bags. Kitchen had everything we needed to make dinners. The location to the beach was perfect - just a minute walk!! We were worried about parking but we were able to find a spot upon arrival and the one time we drove somewhere. Communication with Doug was awesome!! We will stay here again for sure!

We had a great time staying at Doug’s place! Myself and a few friends all met up for a weekend in Mission Beach and we were not disappointed. The place was nice, clean and up to date. The neighbors were friendly and we were less than a minute walk from the beach! It was a great area to stay in, we had a great time at the local bars and cafes, Moe’s is a must visit if you stay here! We were provided with everything we needed to have a fun and comfortable stay. I will definitely be back with my family and friends in the future!

The apartment was very clean but basic. Towels and bedding all good but maybe more glasses and plates etc. Water and Ice Maker was excellent. Location is excellent for the beach and local facilities, supermarkets, bars etc. Exterior of the property has little curb appeal. Check-In scheduled for 4 pm strictly can lead to hanging around with cases etc. You can hear neighbours around you so can be a little noisy but more through conversation than having large parties etc. In summary we had an excellent stay in an apartment that did what it promised.

This was the perfect spot for my wife, mother and daughter. We enjoyed the easy walk to the beach, restaurants and stores. Very tidy and comfy right when you walk in the door. The owner was very easy to reach and was helpful with everything we needed. We will stay here again in the future. Thanks Doug!

Loved the property. We had two teenagers and an 11 year old along with my wife and I. Property was 50 or less steps to the beach and boardwalk. Property was clean. Doug was great to message back and forth. There was an outside shower to wash the sand off before going in the property. Great location with lots of walking options along the boardwalk. Fantastic stay. Will want to stay here again.

Location can’t be beat. Inside is clean and nicely updated. No dining table but there are picnic tables outside. Super close to beach. Pretty basic as far as amenities (no beach chairs or umbrella or cooler - things we have typically seen at other similarly priced rentals ) no wine opener in the kitchen. Fine for kids but it’s a 2nd floor unit no elevator so tricky with strollers or toddlers. Half of the parking spots are along the building and road and unless you have a tiny car you’ll hang over the sidewalk which unfortunately resulted in a $60 parking ticket for us. Under cover parking was fine when it was available but recommend a small car either way. Or no car.
Had a minor issue and the owner responded quickly to help and promptly and generously reimbursed me for an expense which was much appreciated
Overall a fine mission beach rental (maybe not “luxury” but comfortable)

The property looks like a normal apartment from the outside but the actual rental was beautiful. There is a full kitchen with open space to the living room. Streaming channels are included and they have fast internet/wifi. Can't say the same for hotels. Keep in mind that if you have a big SUV, you will have parking issues. We have a Ford Escape and that fit perfectly.
Beds were clean and there were plenty of towels. We would definitely stay here again. Owner was very responsive and helpful when we had questions.

The property is just as advertised. Steps away from the boardwalk. We had a great time. I was initially worried about the parking but we rented a compact suv and it fit fine. Also, there was an available parking spot each night we were there. Doug is very fast in replying to messages and gave us some good suggestions for what’s around. Overall it was a great experience!

We had a great time during our stay at this property. It is basically right on the beach and there are toys available for kids to play with. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is no kitchen table and the queen mattress in the main bedroom is terrible (loud and uneven). We would stay here again.

The place is very nice and clean, we had a wonderful stay. You can hear the people above you, but that was not a big deal for us. Very clean and comfortable spot and having the beach a very short walk away was great. Also having a dedicated parking spot was very helpful.

The place is very nice and clean, we had a wonderful stay. You can hear the people above you, but that was not a big deal for us. Very clean and comfortable spot and having the beach a very short walk away was great. Also having a dedicated parking spot was very helpful.

We’ve stayed in other places that appear nice in pictures, and when you arrive, you realize that things are not maintained well and not as nice as expected. Here, everything met or exceeded our expectations! It was a perfect location! We loved the comfort of the rooms, closets, wash and dryer, and all the kitchen appliances and utensils were nice and new! The bathroom was nice, even the mirror and faucets- these aren’t a big deal, but the attention to detail throughout the home was excellent! The owner was very helpful with communicating and being available whenever needed. We hope to return again sometime soon!

Good location with parking
Nice up-to-date apartment with nice kitchen. Maybe this is excellent for Mission Beach (I have no perspective - 1st time) No eating table and chairs - one couch and one stuffed chair. Mattresses are really old and saggy. Too few hooks or towel racks. Provided beach chairs are worn out. Location is good for both bay and ocean. Parking spot provided - a big plus. Compared to other VRBOs we've stayed at - a little sub par.

We’ve stayed in other places that appear nice in pictures, and when you arrive, you realize that things are not maintained well and not as nice as expected.
