Property have a great location, super clean

The property is lovely--a wonderful place to stay! We really enjoyed having a "home away from home" for our short week in Chincoteague. 5/5 stars!

For the past few years several branches of my family have gotten together in Chincoteague and rented a big house together for a long weekend. This year we outgrew that house and opted to get a second smaller house close by for the overflow. I came across this property and decided to give it a shot. We were pleasantly surprised! It was a very hotel-like experience. Checking in was super easy and convenient. Linens and towels were provided, all white, which means they can get washed and bleached, and makes me feel a whole lot better about using them! LOL They provided a small coffee pot and dishes for your convenience. We made small breakfast while there and the pans were GREAT! Besides the mosquitos, which are horrible everywhere on the island, the only down side for me was the main bed as I think it may be a memory foam mattress. It was very uncomfortable for my husband and I as we both prefer and are accustomed to a firm mattress. Our children, who are older, had no complaints about their beds. I would still recommend this house and very seriously consider for any future stays!

Everything in the house is new and clean. It’s just a short drive to the beach. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The owner is responsive and helpful. Overall a very nice place to stay. Note: There is a small view of the water, but it is partially blocked by other houses in front of this one.

Great and quite location

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage, it was the perfect size for our family of three. It was located in a great area-close to the marsh and just a bike ride/short walk to the dock and local outfitters shop where we rented kayaks and bikes (would highly recommend Chincoteague Island Outfitters). The cottage was very clean and had a lot of coastal charm.

As stated in multiple reviews, this property was awesome. It was clean as promised. We wanted to visit the National Wildlife Refuge and this was the perfect place to stay to make that happen. Our family had so much fun. We will definitely come back!

This little house was a great size & location for our young family. We’re weekend OSV beach goers to Chincoteague so this place was absolutely perfect for our week away!

Great place! Very clean. Cute decor and comfy. Plenty of space for the four of us, nice kitchen, bathroom + laundry, internet and TVs! Not on the water but very close and only a short drive to the beach and park. Friendly and communicative property manager.

This was our second visit to chincoteague and staying here, after returning home from our first stay we immediately booked it again. The house is perfectly sized for our family of three and clean and simple. The location is also perfect. Close to everything and quietly tucked away. Can’t wait to come back next year!

This was our 2nd time at the cottage and we will return again for sure! We absolutely love the remote, peaceful area. This time we made use of Chincoteague Island Outfitters just around the corner and renter paddle boards and a canoe. We bike to town and Memorial Park from the house. So clean and perfect for our family of 4.

Had a very nice stay. Cottage was clean and comfortable, perfect for my husband and I and our two boys. We would stay there again if we have a return visit to the island. *The only remarks to make for future notice would be there were no coffee filters so we went to the store and left a pack of them in the cupboard for the next guests. *We have the same exact oven at home so we are familiar with this style of stove/oven, but when we used it in the cottage, it acted up a bit and had to press the button hard to turn it on/off. There may be a short in the control panel. Overall very nice place to stay.
