The house was clean and nicely decorated. The view off the back porch is great for bird-watching and from the front porch you can see the beach if you look at an angle. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and drove easily to a beach access road where it was relatively quiet, considering it was spring break. The house included many games and since we had a chilly day we were able to stay in and play games with the family. The bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable, however, and I would recommend it be replaced. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

I enjoyed my stay at this quiet home. It was a great place to unwind and enjoy nature. It does need a deep clean and some care

Our door was open when we got there. The latch bolt would not come out. I tried to communicate to the rental company(on Friday) and they didn't respond until the next day. She texted that she fixed it on their end. We were at the beach so when we got back it wasn't fixed-again it won't work when the latch won't come out to close the door. Texted her this(Saturday) & didn't hear back until the next day. We had to leave the door unlocked & only secured with a box placed in front of the door to keep the door closed when we left for the beach or dinner 2out of 3 days. When they finally sent someone over (Sunday at noon)they had to fix the keyless entry & latch bolt-easy fix. It was just frustrating that it took them that long to get there. Our trip was over Monday. The dead bolt worked at night when we slept but again-we shouldn't have had to leave our belongings unsecured so we could enjoy the beach.....the house was good but very poor service from the rental company.

We had such an amazing time here! A great location, clean and beautiful house! It was definitely a great first, but definitely not last, trip to surfside! Thank you so much

The property was very nice. It is across the street from the beach, so we ended up driving to the beach in order to take our stuff. But the back of the house looks out on the marsh with lots of water birds and we enjoyed sitting out there. It was nice they had outdoor furniture. The appliances worked and we really didn't have any complaints. I would recommend bringing your own shampoo and conditioner because the containers they provide are very tiny.

We drove all the way from North Dallas and loved every minute of our stay. Walking distance to great beach time, short ride to water parks and attractions in Galveston and just a great relaxing time spent on either the deck in the front or back of the property. Would definitely like to come back to this property or any other owned by this company. Loved it!
