Great location and perfect for what we needed! The response time to questions was quick and check in was a breeze! Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was in a great neighbourhood, and that's pretty much the nicest thing I can say about it. There were no check-in instructions given to me until I had to text the number vrbo provided the morning of my trip. Entering the apartment, there was clear signs of water damage in the ceiling, we saw exposed wires in the kitchen and it had an unfinished kitchen. The bed was uncomfortable and there was no bedroom door. It's clear that this apartment is not well taken care of, and that was confirmed when the building handyman told us the owner lives on the other side of the country. To make people pay the price that the owner is listing is actually criminal, would not stay here again.

Our stay cancelled 1hr past VRBO’s check in time (owner actually had told us check in was at 3pm, so 2hrs past check in). We received an email that our booking was cancelled with no reason. Customer service (CS) said that it was because they double booked us but “they would make this right”. Was told they fully refunded me, would help us find lodging for both evenings, and all charges would be taken care of. We were en route to Portland and they promised by the time we arrived, we would know where we were staying. Arrived at 7pm, called -“this has already been escalated,” you have to wait. Call at 9:30 pm and tell them we can’t just not know what is happening for the rest of the evening and finally they book us a hotel room with shared beds. This place was selected because it had more than three beds. Was told we would know by the time we woke up about next night. Call at 11am, still “claim has been escalated. Guaranteed you’ll know by 4pm.” 1pm - email that says they won’t help us book something but we can ask them to help locate a listing at our expense to a certain deductible or we could find something ourselves. It’s 1pm on a Sat holiday weekend. All of Portland is booked. Call CS - they found some availability. Book using the link they sent with every info plugged in. They selected the wrong dates, so we have nowhere to go. Homeowner was in communication with me. How were they not aware of a double booking? Listing deserves a flag too since they knew.

My family (wife, 4 kids, and myself) had a great stay in Portland. Our host was awesome with her communication and assistance, and the apartment was clean and in a good location. We had no problem walking to the Downtown and Old Port parts of the city. There were also a few good cafes, bars, restaurants close to the apartment. The apartment was great for us but I think it would be a little tight if we were there for more than a couple days or had 6 adults…especially since there isn’t any closet or dresser space.

Friends and I were looking for a place to call home base for a weekend stay for the Old Port Half Marathon. Check in and check out was easy. The location is next to some awesome restaurant, bars, and shops. In fact all of downtown Portland is easily walkable.

The place was clean and the beds were comfy. The shower had zero hot water so just know there is no shower unless you love ice showers. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Great communication with property manager. The main issue we had was that the water in the shower was never consistently warm. We all had a hard time getting the water to be warm, and all showers were fairly ice cold. Other than that, great neighborhood and location. Had a fun girls' weekend!

There were a couple issues that came up, but Winona did a great job at hosting and making things right. A great value stay, and a great location.
