The apartment was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Had no trouble parking and it was an easy walk to the wharf and other restaurants.

Nice, compfy, and clean. Ample space for four individuals. Parking was not an issue. I was able to park my car in front of the building (plenty of parking space around as well) and not worry about driving since restaurants and port were within walking distance.

Very clean, bright, and comfortable. Perfectly situated around the corner from Broadway. I will definitely book it again.

It was super cold so we had to stay in the apartment a lot of the weekend. We loved the apartment and it was perfect for us. But the problem was that there was no hot water so we were not able to shower the entire weekend. Not sure if the cold weather had to do w it but that was a huge pain. I did contact the owner and he checked on the water heater but it didn’t fix the problem while we were there.

Recently spent a weekend in Newport with my two adult daughters. The apartment was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and well appointed. Matthew, the owner, responded quickly to any questions we had. The location is perfect. We parked our car on arrival and never needed to use the car until it was time to leave. You can easily walk to shops, restaurants and the Cliff Walk. Do not hesitate to book a stay at this apartment. You will not be disappointed!!!!

When we arrived on Friday afternoon, we found the third floor unit to be cute and clean. BUT, the toilet didn't flush and the shower was just a trickle. I emailed VRBO that night, but the message never made it through to the owner. The next day, the unit was checked-out. A plumber was not available for Saturday so we were moved to the 1st floor apartment. It was the right thing to do and it was lovely! We would also suggest that you stock the apartment a little more thoroughly. There was only one wine glass and only 3 washcloths. There was also no dishwashing liquid and one of the lightbulbs was missing. This first floor unit was lovely. Thank you for moving us!

This property was easy access to downtown and all night life. It was very easy to locate, easy side street parking and easy access into the home. It was very clean and stocked with everything you need! Would highly recommend you check out this place!

It was absolutely adorable, and a perfect last minute getaway for my family of four. The slanted ceilings are a bit low, and we bumped our heads a few times, but it was all part of the charm!

We enjoyed our stay at this nicely renovated 3 floor apartment. Nice place to stay if you are visiting RI colleges or just want to experience Newport. Street parking was easy. It had everything we needed. Hope to return!

My family and I stayed here for two nights in the winter. The location was fine, in wintertime, driving is not an issue, but if it were summer I'd say it's a bit far of a walk to the Thames/America's cup area. There were plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, but it was about .75 miles to walk to Thames. There was ample parking on the street (again, wintertime so can't vouch for summertime). The apartment was lovely, very nice furnishings, bathroom was lovely. It is an attic apartment so the walls are slanted making it very easy to bump your head. At times the sloped ceilings were frustrating, in the master, for example, you have to slant your body to walk around to the far side of the bed. The couches were stained and uncomfortable but really that's nitpicky, overall it was fine. There was plenty of lights and the heat was impressive, I was worried it might be chilly but wasn't at all! We could hear the beeps for when people came into and out of the house via the stairwell but never heard our downstairs neighbors. Excellent insulation! Overall this little 2 bedroom was lovely. An old home which was renovated nicely and well priced for being able to walk to shops.

The unit is beautiful and it's not as close to town as I thought. By car it was a breeze. The one thing I'd have to kind of have to mention, the hot water is a little weird...takes a bit to tweak it to run hot. And that water pressure is just poor. Aside from that, beautiful unit, everything you can ask for and I'd be back.

Stayed here while attending a wedding in town. Very convenient location, clean, easy to find parking. Would recommend.

Could walk to almost everything. Great restaurants right around the corner. House was just as described and very comfortable for our family vacation with the dog.

Great location all attractions are in walking distance, the property management was wonderful. I couldn’t locate a hair dryer, so I messaged the property manager, in less than 15 minutes he showed up with a brand new one in the box. It’s spacious and a really cute place, the third level requires a lot of stairs to get to just quick FYI! All together a great property.

This attic apartment was a gem! It looked just like the pictures and was perfect for me and my two teen daughters for a girls weekend away! Extremely clean and convenient to walk to shopping, restaurants and the ferry. Matthew and Keith were extremely accommodating hosts and I would highly recommend renting from them! Thank you!

Clean, comfortable, stylish and great location. This was our first time visiting RI and the entire family (including pup) loved it. Newport is very pup-friendly and so was the apartment.
