Exceptional communication from the host who waited for my arrival. Property was clean, tidy and well equipped. The heating worked well. Bed/s were comfortable. Wi-fi worked well. Plenty of seating and a place at the dining table for me to work. Great location near a managed forest path and fields in a nature reserve. My dogs loved the walks and made the best use of the area around the property Mostly quiet. Shops and eateries a short drive from the property and within walking distance if needed.

A bathroom or on-suite upstairs where the bedrooms were would have been a bonus. One bedroom leading off another would have been a slight problem if I had travelled with others, but luckily I was solo this time. Stairs might be a problem for the less abled - especially if the bathroom was needed during the night?

Its great location for escaping the busy city life enjoyed our short stay.

The Maaseik area is awesome, most beautifull part of Belgium we'ved ever seen!

Property didn't Informed us that roadwork were ongoing on the property for a while!! From 6h30 am a crane was digging 10m from the apartment, even the ground was shaking! The stove was not working we were informed at arrival and no action was taken by property to solve the issue Coming back on the next day, private property parking was blocked by other cars, needed 20mn to solve the issue.
