Our experience with this property was simply outstanding. Gorgeous view from the brow of the mountain, location was very close to everything we were looking to do on our vacation while providing a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a full cabin, mountain getaway. Couples and families will surely find this property to be ideal for a relaxing escape from the day to day stresses of the world. We will definitely be renting this cabin again simply because the check in/out process was a breeze and the cabin is perfectly located for everything we wanted to do on our vacation. 10 out of 10 for sure.

It's the cabin you expect in Mentone with hidden modern twists. New updated fixtures, touch light switches, night lights that come on when you walk into the bathrooms, upgraded appliances, great ceiling fans, fantastic TV''s, and a gas fireplace. That covers most of the modern; the cabin feel is everywhere. Just when you think you've seen all the little treasures throughout the cabin you find a new one. Furniture is comfy, beds are comfy, and the swing in the main bedroom is heaven. I loved all the decks, just didn't know which one to use first. Spent hours sitting outside looking at the incredible views. We all loved everything about Cottonwood Cabin. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

We loved staying at this cabin. It was peaceful and had all of the amenities we needed. The view was beautiful and the cabin is not far from Mentone and DeSoto State Park. We did not get to use the fire pit as the area is in a drought and it was very windy, but that area is very cozy. The only thing I would mention is that the master bathroom only has a tub, but the upstairs bathroom does have a shower. The space in between the floor boards in the loft threw my vertigo off a little since you could see the light from the room below, but everything else was wonderful and we would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. The house exceeded expectations from the listing. We will definitely be looking to schedule another trip to stay here and enjoy Mentone and all the surrounding trails and falls.

Very charming and cozy cabin with updated appliances and advanced technology. My daughter said, "It's like this cabin is old and new at the same time." Would definitely stay there again. Would have loved a broader view; the trees blocked about 60-70% of it. I'm sure it's a stunning view in the winter.

Nice views, but moths and ants in cabin were bothersome as well as scurrying mice noises at night making it hard to sleep.

First, I’d like to say, this cabin exceeded all expectations! There are the coziest little “perches” (inside and out) to snuggle up and read, write or just be still. The brow view is amazing, whether that means you are watching the sunset or get the immense pleasure of watching the fog slowly roll across the valley below - until it’s completely blanketed in white.
This may be the cleanest and most well equipped rental I’ve ever stayed in…not one detail was overlooked.

Everything was the way it was presented in the post. Loved the natural wood on the inside. Nicely decorated. Felt at home immediately! Only hang up was the motion lights on the smoke detectors with every movement while sleeping. May have been a way to turn them off, but not tech savvy enough to figure it out.

We were married in Mentone 5 years ago and we've spent our last 2 anniversaries at this beautiful home. Some days we spend shopping and sight seeing, and some days we just relax and stay in. We enjoy everything this home has to offer and it couldn't be a more warm welcoming place to get away.

This place is so cool & a terrific place to relax! Views are breathtaking! One of my sons saw a black bear below the brow and my wife and I saw some sort of Fox! The house had everything we needed - the beds were so comfortable! It is so close to DeSotp Falls a great hike and swimming hole!

Serene Mountain Getaway
We had a wonderful time in this tastefully decorated mountain retreat! Plenty of beautiful outdoor living space with wonderful bluff views. Kitchen was really well appointed too. Great for our couples weekend but would also accommodate a small family very well.

Cottonwood Cabin Review
Wonderful well decorated cabin with beautiful views of the brow! Very close to trails to DeSoto Falls and the town of Mentone. Only recommendation would be to have instructions for guests for using TVs. We had a little trouble accessing live TV channels on You Tube TV (there is no cable), as previous guest had logged out the owner. However, the owner did communicate quickly by phone and was able to get us access to the channel. We plan to stay again!

Amazing views and relaxing cabin
We loved staying here, so many amenities! Very quiet cabin with amazing views. Very tranquil. The two rooms are quite separate and gives a lot of privacy for two couples. Bathtub was a great addition. Would definitely stay again we were more than pleased.

Home away from Home
I fell in love with the property, and we definitely were not disappointed! The views are amazing, and the surrounding area was easy to access. But none of that compared to the house itself. We felt so at home here, and my son kept saying how much he didn't want to leave. Thank you for an amazing stay!
