Very nice and clean. We were steps away from the beach.

The lounge/dinner was great Bob and the rest of the staff were wonderful.

The bar and grill needs wait staff that is more polite. The room was terrible .. the photos in the ad are not what the room looked like. Stains all on the carpet ..looked like the only thing that was clean was the bed which sounds like a cracker bag when you move on it and hard as a rock. The bathroom was the nicest part of the whole room.. the chair bed or whatever it was was not cleaned had a condom left in it so it's still there I have pictures.. I could go on but all I can say is lesson learned for me you guys need to go check these rooms out before you put your name on something like this.

on our last night we killed 3 cockroaches. one was a few inches from our 11mo on the bed. a few of the pillows had stains on them. one of the stains looked like blood so we just threw them in the corner of the room and made sure not to touch them.

How quiet and close to the beach it was. The pools, lazy rivers and hot tubs were also wonderful.

Stuffy and musty at times but it’s expected in an older hotel. y the ocean.

Easy beach access and lots of restaurants and shops around; a little less crowded than Myrtle Beach. Facilities were great (we used the pool, hot tubs, and gym everyday!). There is a bar by the outdoor pool with great drinks and snacks.

The host, Barbara, is incredibly rude. We followed all of the check-in and check-out instructions we received by email. A couple hours after we checked out, Barbara asked if we had a dog with us. We did and I responded as such. Her response: "Well I don't think you realize that you were supposed to pay a fee for the dog being there. Too many people have been bringing their animals and not paying to bring them and it would cost a lot more if you were to keep them somewhere." She requested that I call her property manager to pay $100. I was not aware of a pet fee, because this is not mentioned anywhere on her property's page. Obviously no one has been paying to bring their animals if they aren't informed of a fee prior to booking! Barbara doesn't have any idea how booking.com works ("they (her property management company) tell me it (the fee) is in there", "I'm going to have them check that because if it's happening to me it's got to be happening to other people also") and she expects you to pay for her incompetency. I was tired of going back and forth, so I told her I would not be responding to any further messages, to which she replied, "It's okay I'll pay the fee for you! Remember me and (sic) church on Sunday. I'm telling you booking.com screwed up or you didn't see it you owe $100 I'm asking you for the fee thank you." Two days later I received a message from her property management company that they have added $118 plus taxes to my reservation to cover their pet fee.

The price was good. And the pool. The room was very clean.

The don't have a full kitchen. No good sitting room. Was just for two people.
