Spent two days and nights in this lovely rental in South Haven. Comfortable space; great amenities. The area is delightful - lots of good restaurants, beach and activities near by. A really happy place!

This is our second stay at this house. We love being a block from Kids Corner and 1.5 blocks to the beach. We rented the house with another family because we love the multi-unit setup. We each have our own floor with a fully stocked kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, living room, dining table etc. but they are connected so we can spend time together in the yard, on the deck and after the kids go to bed. The house is a quick walk into downtown where there are many family friendly bars and restaurants. There is even a wagon, beach chairs and some toys for use during your stay. We will definitely be back!

This property was absolutely perfect for our weekend get away. The interior was very clean and a great layout. Kitchen was fully stocked with glasses, plates, silverware, cleaning supplies, coffee maker and even wine glasses! Fully functional dishwasher, microwave, stove and refrigerator with a Brita and ice packs in the freezer. There also was an accessible washer and dryer! The renter offered Smart Television with an option to use their Netflix as well. The back porch was great for late night beverages and there also is a fire pit in the back yard! They also offer beach chairs and a wagon to use for beach days. Location was extremely convenient, only a 2-3 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to downtown bars/restaurants. The neighborhood is very safe, quiet and quaint, we felt absolutely fine walking around at night and walking with our dogs. There also is driveway and street parking. We had the best time at this location, and will absolutely be booking again!

We had a quick stay at this property and everything was perfect! Newly renovated home with plenty of room. Great outdoor space right off the kitchen, complete with outdoor furniture. The location is conveniently located, a very quick walk to the lake and a small park. Such a cute little spot for a quick getaway.

We stayed here for a sister's weekend. Super cozy and cute with many personal touches. A couple of blocks to the beach so we could easily go watch the sunset. Our host was so kind to check in with me first thing to make sure everything was good. Now that is customer service! Would stay here again in a minute and highly recommend.

The pros of the house is two separate living spaces for two separate families to be able to rent together. Close to the beach and downtown which was great! It had two nice decks we could use. One floor is completely renovated while the other needs updated. The biggest issues staying here was the small tub/shower combo and the small shower upstairs. Couldn’t wash hair without elbows hitting wall and curtain. Tub was very small. No storage for personal items in bathrooms. Toilet seat upstairs doesn’t fit the toilet so when you move on the seat, the seat is slipping on the toilet. Bathroom sink in both bathrooms have very little counter space to use while getting ready. There isn’t a full length mirror placed in a spot to actually use as a full length mirror. There was not central heat or A/C. Space heater provided for bedrooms didn’t work (fire hazard to use as heat source while sleeping). No pantry for storage of food on the main level. Blinds to slider door were not good quality and broken. Couch had a large rip in it. Furniture was all very low to the ground and very cheap. Not comfortable to sit on and socialize (even with just 4 adults). Closets in bedrooms are being used for storage so I had to pull things out and place somewhere in the small bedroom before I could hang up my clothes. Very cheap and thin pillows. Fabric softener was used on bedding and made it hard for me to breath. The house doesn’t have a water softener. Back yard is very small and open to the front.

Yes there are stairs, but the description needs to be updated. Stairs are narrow and steep with carpet that was gross. The layout also needs to be updated. The setup is a 2 family flat. The upstairs unit is original and could use updating, very rustic. The ceiling tiles need to be replaced throughout, some had water stains or holes (they were not complete pieces). The AC units do not cool the rooms with the bunk beds both downstairs and upstairs. Kitchen, the pots and pans need to be replaced the Teflon was coming off the pans. The seal on the downstairs oven was showing inside the oven. Seemed dangerous. Bathrooms, toilet seat in upstairs unit was broken and the sink drain was slow and backed up ( we did mention these items to the lady that came by to put out the garbage but nothing was done). The upstairs shower was very small and there was rust on the ceiling. The downstairs bathroom needed to be updated, the tub was worn and we had to buy bath mats before stepping in the tub to shower. The bikes were both not useable, flat tires and no air pump. Also no beach towels, thank goodness we brought our own. The baseboards needed to be cleaned they were dirty. The location was close to the beach which was nice. We made do but not worth the money we paid.

We had a good time. House has been remodeled. Bathrooms are small but adequate. Hand towels and wash cloths need replacing. Grill needed major cleaning before we could use it. Overall it was fine. We would rent this place again.
