The view was nice
I am extremely disappointed with my stay at Pont de Val, I had to find the unit on my own.
The unit was not clean, there were spider webs in all corners of the room. The outside table had spider webs, the bathroom had SPIDERS crawling on the floor.
2. The TV was not working, it kept scanning without showing any images.
3. I was told to park at parking bay 9,later when I came back, someone had already parked in that parking bay. I had to drive back to the main gate to find out where to park.
4.after showing, the water was all over the bathroom floor!!!!!!!!!!! The drainage system doesn't seem to work properly!
After spending close to R3000 for accommodation, it still didn't include breakfast!! A TOTAL RIP OFF! Had to pay an additional R189 for breakfast!

The restaurant was closed due to flooding, therefore did not use it.
We should have been advised that the restaurant was not operational so that we make alternative means for food before arrival.

The scenery, the estate, is very quiet and well maintained.

Loved everything 😊Just to note it's on the estate side not the picnic side, maps got us lost for a bit, also a long mirror in the room would be great for make up and dress up 😉

Location, proximity to Vaalriver. Beautiful venue. Accommodation is very clean and beautiful rooms. Musselpot starter at restaurant was amazing
Supper at the restaurant took long to arrive from starters. Main meal was like warm when it arrived

The river site, you can take beautiful pictures and the place is beautiful. It's nice place to recoop.
We were not told that breakfast will be served until 11am, at breakfast the coffee cup that I got had some lip stick on and coffee was cold. Not really kids frieendly

the only thing that was not enjoyable is that right next to the unit is the cleaning courters and the cleaners would make so much noise talking and being very loud!

We struggled to find a key to our room but fortunately we were assisted by a very patient and kind security guard. He is light in complexion. I forgot his name.

Beautiful location, well-appointed room, quiet and peaceful setting.

Great location. The place has a few enjoyable activities on site so that made our stay easier such as a Spa, the picnic area side which has wine-tasting, boat cruise and other restaurants.
That the hotel restaurant does not serve guests who stay in the apartments, but on the picnic side there are more options so that made up for it.

One thing that I think you need to do is to encourage the restaurant to up their game. The restaurant is overrated.

We liked the view from our apartment. The host was very helpful, was just a phone call away.
Cosy little apartment for 2.
The bathroom needs a bit of attention. Glass shelves could be added next to the mirror. There is little space to put toiletries. The owner should definitely invest in more hang rails and a soap holder in the shower. The shower curtain thing is so old-school. No body wants to be mopping after a shower. I had to use the sliding door as a long mirror everyday

Restaurant qas nice
No electricity for the entire day we were there. Had to go buy candles at the off site tuck shop for lights that evening. Couldn't charge phones, no wifi, no hot water and finally no water.....

We had problem with ants. - In the kitchen area and in our bed
Also toiletries supply was quite underwhelming

Nice clean apartment overlooking the pont De Vaal .
It's in the estate and walking distance to restaurants of the main hotel
Shower need to have a soap or some kind of holder as currently need to leave all your amenities on the floor while showering no ideal
