This was the perfect property for our family. It is spacious and comfortable with unbelievable views and amenities. The kayaks were a blast, and we spent the entire weekend on the patios. Location is convenient to town. We loved it! The property information helped a lot, but the host was also responsive when we had questions.

What an incredible trip it was! Larry was extremely attentive and accommodating for any requests/help we needed. The hot tub wasn't working when we arrived which was a bummer but Larry was able to schedule someone to come in the next day, and by day 3 we were able to use it again. The space is massive and no detail in tech was forgotten. The only negative aspect of the trip was the cleanliness of the house upon arrival, I would chalk that up to maybe just a one time bad job by the cleaners but with the size of the house + luxury aspect a thorough cleaning is expected (green residue along the hot tub that we cleaned, the shower drains if not cleaned before are truly gross to do yourself, residual food/etc on the floor from what I assume to be children prior). Other than that, so many positives, the view is better than the pictures, and all the amenities you could ever need are at your disposal (even speakers playing around the campfire outside! What a wonderful touch.) It's a great space for events, and we left wanting to come back. If you love water sports (kayaking, sups, fishing) they have the garage more than stocked, this is the place for you. You're lucky to stay here, and again we thank larry and his wife for all the support throughout the weekend. There were so many pros that outweighed the few negatives. Also, larry recommended an at home chef, Amber, who we had do a dinner and brunch for us. Her service was incredible, the food even better, and the price is right! Just do it! You won't regret it.

The views are second to none at this lake front property. The interiors are warm and inviting and you will absolutely enjoy cooking in this kitchen! We hosted our families for an intimate wedding ceremony and reception and could not have chosen better people to host (thank you Larry and Connie!) and a more beautiful setting. We fully enjoyed all the amenities - hot tub, movie theater, SUPs and kayaks. We hope to come back and enjoy this lovely home again in the future!

One of the best locations in the USA. Home is amazing and has everything you need. Would not hesitate to stay again.

This property was better than the listing photos! Magnificent home on a beautiful lake. Our family of 14 stayed for six days and it was awesome. Hoping to make a return trip during summer months to be able to enjoy this place more. This house literally has it all. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space if needed. I will mention that you are not allowed to use the wood burning fire place in the great room. We spent most of our time on that floor since the kitchen, dining and living rooms were all in that same space. There is a fire place on the first floor that can be used in the living room down there or outside on the porch. We did not get to use the outdoor fire pit as everything was covered in a few feet of snow. Nonetheless we enjoyed our trip and hope to return.

It is a beautiful house right on the lake. a mile walk from town if you don't want to drive. House is truly beautiful. Kitchen is huge and very high tech. Larry the owner, was available with ease to any questions we had. Lots of high tech gadgets. Fun yard games. We were there for a week and a half and had a blast. Larry recommended Amber for catering who was a life saver for our dinners. For nights when she was free she'd come, cook, serve, clean up. if she was busy, she'd pre-cook and leave food for us with heating instructions. She's an incredible chef. We loved everything she made. Brand new beautiful home with a wonderful, attentive owner. Highly recommend this home to families.

Beautiful home right on the lake. More than enough space for our four families, beautiful views, RMNP minutes away, a garage full of water toys, it was perfect.

We just celebrated our wedding at Shadow Mountain Lodge, and we had the most spectacular time! The house was stunning, high tech and in the most amazing setting in Colorado! We hosted our closest friends and family and it was amazing to have bedrooms and a bathroom for every couple! And the kids LOVED the dedicated boy and girl bunkbed rooms! And the loft area with games for the kids is a perfect place to "send them away" yet still be able to have eyes on them from the amazing living room! Our ceremony on the patio was perfect, and when it started to rain we moved to the covered deck! WOW! And to top it off there are toys to play on the lake!!!!!! Larry, thank you so much for working with us and allowing us to start our forever story at your family vacation home! You and your wife built the perfect place for family memories!
