This is a nice place. Our stay was tarnished by a few issues. Firstly, the door code would not work. Which left us with one key. Someone had to stay back all the. Secondly, the housekeeper left the refrigerator doors open so we had no refrigerator for 20 hours and all the ice melted leaving us to clean up a flood of water. Thirdly, the housekeeper did not run the dishwasher or clean it out. We had to run it and put all the dishes away. Finally, there was building construction across the street that was loud. No relaxing to the ocean then! Plus the view for this place will be obliterated. Probably why its for sale. Rent it if you don't mind any of this.

Nowhere in the instructions noted we had to push in the lock with the key to open the door.A Vacasa employee had to come and let us in after standing outside in the cold for an hour. The ice maker doesn’t work. When the shower in the main bedroom upstairs was turned on the shower head flew out of the fixture just missing me and spraying water all over the bathroom.There were a pair of men’s pants left hanging in the upstairs bathroom in the main bedroom. It would be nice to ensure others’ clothes are removed prior to the next guests moving in., There are instructions to take out the trash to the community garbage cans at the end of the street. They have combination locks on them and we weren’t given the code to access. The TV in the bedroom upstairs asked for a code which again was not in the instructions. It was disappointing to deal with all that didn’t work.

We loved this condo and definitely recommend it. Ideal for 3 couples or 3 single friends. The loft has games, puzzles, and a carpeted area where you can throw sleeping bags down for your kids. Well stocked kitchen with spices, coffee, and cookware. Our only ding is the auto sensor lighting downstairs. You barely slip out of the bedrooms to use the bathroom & the bright lights come on. You dash across the foyer & hit the switch to turn it off before waking up the person in the other bedroom. I'm sure it is a safety feature but it would be nice if it could be dimmed at night. We couldn't get the code to unlock the door but used the secondary method with the key. Very nice place.

House was okay. But I’ve contacted Vacasa 6 times by phone, 5 times by email for a couple of items of clothes left in the dryer. They noted that they had the clothes and it’s been over a month and still don’t have them, heard nothing back. The customer service agent stated they would comp sending them to me because what an absolute hassle we had been through, and yet, still nothing. We were actually staying at another home across the street the next day, and they wouldn’t even let us go over there while the cleaner was there to get the clothes. Worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with, won’t be booking again which is so unfortunate because we’ve loved using Vacasa.

We had a weekend getaway with our family. The beach access was great and it was nice to have a bbq on the deck.

Loved staying in this immaculate spacious home. A very quiet area - wonderful being so close to the beach. Highly recommend it.

The property itself had a lot of good amenities including decent size rooms, nice size bathrooms, open kitchen concept, nice garage, and great view. The issues were the moldy smell from the washing machine which permeated the whole house when used and ants in the kitchen (on the window sill and on counters).

Wonderful stay! The home was clean, full of modern amenities, and had plenty of space for a family of four. Ocean view and super convenient beach access were a huge plus. We will definitely stay again!

Beach Beauty
This house was amazing, the view from the deck is everything the pictures show it to be. The house was very comfortable and clean, plenty of towels and linens, in a great location and the neighborhood was very quiet. Will definitely stay here again.

great location, with a view of the ocean. The beach was easy to access with a short walk. Home was a duplex with a mutual wall, but was quiet. Had all we needed in the Kitchen and the home was nicely decorated. BBQ was easy to use and the full garage was great for drying off the kids clothing.

Great Gold Beach Find!
Lovely home and beautiful view of ocean. The house was well supplied and very clean. Close to the beach! Had a wonderful time. The only reason I gave a rating of 4 is that we had trouble with keypad entry which was also mentioned in previous reviews. However Vacasa was very responsive and helped us with the issue.

Very clean and well appointed, comfortable home right across the street from the beach. Only complaints were the lock code did not work and I had to call Vacasa to get the code for the back up lock to get into the house, and the very early check out time of 10:00. Very nice place!

It was a lovely home and we enjoyed every moment ( once we got through the key pad vs lock box issue to gain entry ).....
It is well stocked and very warm and welcoming. A great place to spend the week .

The view was lovely. Beach access is a short walk to the left or the right. The kitchen was fully stocked. Management was quick to respond when we couldn't figure out the tv remote for a minute. The mattresses were pretty firm. If you like a soft pillow and are sleeping downstairs you may consider bringing one. Very comfortable couch. We would stay there again. 😊

We were given wrong code to enter property. Dishwasher not working- sign on it that needed repair, so forced to hand wash during entire stay. Minimal amenities. Nary a tissue in entire place. We bought a box for each bathroom & left them. Tiny bugs in tub. No soap dish for bathroom sink. No sand chairs. Cleaning only passable. No info on area. No books or games. Huge dog crates in garage. No little special touches that make a property & stay memorable. Property didn’t smell fresh. Vacasa, mgt co. for property, does minimum.
