Perfect little cottage, just what we needed, serene and beautiful. Cottage had everything we needed, very cozy, didn't venture out much, just enjoyed watching the snow melting off the trees, relaxing and take in the wonderful scenery, plenty of snow to play in. Owners were so very nice, great communication and accommodating. Planning to return in the spring. Highly recommend

The little cozy cabin on the mountain was the best time that my wife and I have had in a long time while visiting Idyllwild, CA.
We have visited Idyllwild almost every year on our anniversary. This year was our 45th and the little cozy cabin on the mountain made it very special for us.
Jeff and Barb are the most wonderful folks. They communicated with us a couple of days before the trip about check in and property details during our stay. They gave us all the information we would need in order to have a wonderful stay in the little cabin.
As had happened many times before this trip, it snowed on the mountain. Didn't stop us from going, and Jeff & Barb stayed in touch with us to make sure we arrived safely and make sure we had everything we needed. They provided us with helpful tips to keep the cabin warm during our stay with the 20-degree weather and the 1 foot or more of snow that had fallen and was still falling during our stay.
Our stay at the little cozy cabin on the mountain will be a time my wife and I will remember forever. The cabin was very clean, organized, and supplied with Kitchen appliances, utensils, and bath & bedding we would need during our stay. All we needed to provide was the food and drinks. Jeff & Barb thought of and provided everything else you would need.
We will definitely plan to stay in the little cozy cabin on the mountain for our next, 46th, anniversary.

This was an incredible find! We had an amazing start to the New Year here and the hosts could not have been more helpful or responsive! A beautiful property at a great price! Highly recommend for a romantic mountain break!

It was cozy and comfortable and so welcoming. The special little details like the welcome gift, the coffee and flavorings, and the lighted tree outside, made it magical. Didn’t want to leave and neither did my dog. He was in heaven chasing and sniffing around the huge fenced yard.

There is a problem that you should be aware of if you choose to stay at the The Little Cabin! After you stay here, you will wonder what all those other hosts out there in rental land are doing! Jeff and Barb should be running a course on not only how to appoint a rental property, but also how to be a great host! It's obvious that a lot of thought and consideration went into making the Little Cabin so cozy and comfortable, absolutely everything you need. Peaceful and private!

The property is adorable, and our for babies thoroughly enjoyed it! The cabin was stocked with all the amenities we could have needed, including a bbq and dog bed! Only giving 4 stars because my partner and I are used to our king size avocado mattress, so the bed was just a tiny bit small and uncomfortable for us, but overall enjoyed our time and would be back 👌

Of all the 30+ places we've stayed over the years, this is by far the BEST! The hosts thought of every last detail when providing accommodations and making guests have the best experience ever. Barb and Jeff are so kind and sincerely want every guest to feel special. And we did!! We absolutely LOVED our stay in this VERY quiet, private and picturesque surrounding in the most cozy and comfortable cabin! We will be back! Thank you, Barb and Jeff!!

This is the cleanest,sweetest,quietest cabin you can rent...the owners have thought of everything and it was a dream stay...Amber did a thorough job of cleaning it and was so fun to meet! our serivice dog CoCo loved the squirrels and we were pleasantly in awe of the live deer that walked through the ground...priceless!
We did break an old BBQ scaper cleaning the grill,but bought a new one at the town store??? They have everything! We are looking for a small cabin to buy and are working with Shelly who knows the owners and talks very highly of them. What a great community! Thank You for letting us stay and the new queen bed is very comfortable!! Hope to come back soon!

The cabin was just fine, WiFi worked well as cell connection [T-mobile] weak, good coffee, quiet neignborhood yet close to town. My dog and I enjoyed it though she would have liked to see more squirrels there.

This has been the ultimate extremely amazing cabin i have ever stayed at. The cabin was so well appointed. From freshly ground deluxe coffee, lovely scented lavender hand cream. Beautiful fragrant lilac bushes. Quiet and peaceful. Met Barb, hostess with the mosted. If your looking for a truly great getaway, highly recommend. I will definitely stay again

Property was exactly as advertised and expected. Hosts are great! Super friendly. Unit is small and quaint which is exactly what we were looking for on our little weekend getaway. Clean and cozy. Worth every penny. Our only piece of critical feedback was the bed size - but we are also used to a King bed - it made for a cozy and romantic experience for us. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Little Cabin. It’s conveniently located within an easy car ride to the village center in Idyllwild. Dog friendly (fully fenced) and not far from trailheads either. The Little Cabin had all the necessities (kitchen appliances, heater, fireplace, Smart TV.) Everything was what we needed down to the plush towels. Access & timely communication with host was super easy.

This hideaway cabin was cute and perfect for us. Had all of the necessary amenities. Enjoyed the wood burning stove at night. Easy communication with the hosts. The only thing that we could of used was an extra hand towel, as we only received one for two people for 3 days. Planning on returning next year in the spring.

We brought our cat for a two day get-away up to Idyllwild. The Little Cabin had everything we needed. It was private but still close enough to town to get to all the shops and restaurants. Also there are so many hiking trails that we never got a chance to check out. That's why another visit will be in our future. Barb and Jeff are great hosts and there property was beautiful.

The Little Cabin, was a wonderful place to stay for a short get away. A small space but providing everything one would need. The cabin is very rustic with little touches that shows that a lot of thought and love went into the decor. The private and woodsy setting is a huge plus. I would recommend this darling Little Cabin for a cozy get away.

Quiet and secluded location, a nice walk to town and a short drive to hiking trails. This little cabin was quite comfortable for our 3 night stay. Just enough amenities in the kitchen to cook full meals with everything we needed. Our wonderful hosts Barb and Jeff were responsive to any questions, and offered a homey and personal touch. Great place for our dog to hang out, too. And loved the star gazing! <3

Everything about The Little Cabin was perfect. From the detailed directions to the property, the welcoming surroundings, and the attention to detail—over the top! There isn’t a single thing that wasn’t provided that a guest would need. All possible kitchen items (and my fave detail -coffee!) to a humidifier, air conditioning, bathroom essentials at the ready. Walking the property was also fun, as yard accessories appeared around every corner. The location is walking distance to town. Front porch is excellent for stargazing too. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Cabin
Great cabin, perfect for a solo trip with my dog. The cabin is in great shape: clean, updated and equiped with everything you need. Great communication with host. Fantastic location; about a 15-20 minute walk to the center of town, restaurants are about 5 minutes away. If you're considering two or three cabins, pick this one. I'll definitly book again.
