This house was perfect for our Yellowstone adventure! It was PLENTY big for 4 couples to have their own space. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Robert was an excellent host. We enjoyed seeing the elk wander in and out of the front and back yards. We would definitely stay here again!

We take a yearly family trip of around 17 varying in ages from 5 to 75! It is always more difficult to find a property to meet those needs! This property did that for us. We had plenty of room and variety for all of us. It was minutes into Yellowstone and the entrance was never crowded. The kitchen was well supplied with all appropriate gadgets! There were plenty of beds for all as well, with some to spare. Robert the owner was extremely helpful and available to answer questions. I would truly recommend this property for anyone wanting to spend time in Yellowstone.

We had 8 adults and 5 grandchildren (3 are teens), and chose this house because it was close to Yellowstone Park. It is a great location within easy walking distance to Gardiner's restaurants, shops, grocery store, and white water rafting. There is plenty of space to spread out and everything you need to do cooking at the house when you aren't trying out the local restaurants.
The grandkids enjoyed sleeping in the bedroom with all the bunk beds, and the upstairs common area by that bedroom let some stay up later to watch a movie while others went to bed.
The house is so close to the north entrance of the park that we managed to get everyone up for an early morning drive into Lamar Valley to see the wildlife as the sun came up.
This property worked very well for our family reunion. Thank You !!

This house was amazing! There was plenty of beds & bathrooms for everyone and I loved how nicely labeled everything was in the kitchen to find what you needed! The basement was a great escape for the kids to hang out & play. Everyone enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the elk & deer walk by right in front of us. This house had more animal activity then we saw in the park! The owners were easy to talk to & respond quickly. This town was super cute & a great place to stay close to the park, without being inside it. There is a market to get groceries very close to the house too. Would highly recommend & we would 100% come back & stay here.

The Hammond’s place had everything we needed to enjoy some quality family time. The place was clean with everything neatly labeled and easy to find. The rooms were perfect. Room for everyone in our party to have their own space. The AC units in the room made it simple for everyone to sleep comfortably each night. The yard was serene with frequent visits from the wild elk. Purely majestic. An easy walk to plenty of businesses. Grocery store just down the street. The park is so close it made getting in quick and easy. It was nice to be so close after driving around the park all day. All in all, perfection! Would absolutely stay again!

The house was great for our big group of 3 adults and 16 teenagers. There was a great deal of space for sleeping (the air mattresses were super helpful). Multiple bathrooms was very helpful and being close to town (stores, playground, entrance to YNP, etc.) made things easy too. I would highly recommend to any other large group. The property owner has been very supportive and helpful from day one!!

We were in Montana for a family reunion. The home was large enough to accommodate our party of 17, plus we were able to host dinners for the rest of our family that was staying in another property down the road. It was great that all of the drawers were labeled making it very easy to find things we needed. There were plenty of games and puzzles to keep the kids and adults engaged. We were in walking distance to the Market, and the Flying Pig adventures which we used for the rafting trip (highly recommend).

The home is beautiful, functional, and meets all your needs. Great kitchen, room for games, relaxing, comfortable bedrooms. Love the extras like the blow up mattresses for the kids. Owner is great, made us feel welcome.

Rob is a great communicator and his property was the perfect location for my 30th birthday party. With so many people gathering, I thought finding a spot that could easily accommodate around 20 would be difficult. However, his place is incredibly spacious. Three levels to the home allowed for all my guests to congregate naturally and with enough room to never feel crowded. I also appreciate how well situated it is in town, allowing us to go to places like the Rusty Rail late into the night without worrying about driving back home. What’s more, it may not seem like much, but I genuinely appreciated how everything was labeled in the kitchen, making it easy to find exactly what we needed! I highly recommend it to any larger groups thinking of visiting the area, and would happily book it again for a similar get together.

We stayed at Rob's place on a work trip, and the house was the perfect size for all 10 of us! There was plenty of room for everyone. Rob was great with communication and helpful.

As a group, we have stayed in a lot of very nice VRBOs, but we decided this was the very best. Our family reunion consisted of 9 adults and 6 children and we all had plenty of room to spread out. We really appreciated how well stocked the kitchen and bathrooms were. A huge bonus was watching the antics of the elk and mule deer families!
If you are thinking of a trip to Gardiner and Yellowstone this is the year to do it, and this is the house to stay in. We will be back!

Weekend Wedding
Great property. Great location to Yellowstone and the wedding venue. We were a party of 10 mostly adults but 3 teenage boys. lots of ping pong and foosball -which the best uncle dominated. Robert was great to deal with lots of communication and patience with my mom who called him more than once to ask a question totally unrelated to the house - which hwy is the best road in? 5 min from North gate. The pictures on website dont do it justice, pics make it look dark, it was well lit very well organized. we walked into house and were set. Beds were comfortable as well as the kitchen area and living room, plenty of space for all of us to spread out and still able for a few of us to find a quite place to move away from the crazy. I would go back and I would recommend

Checking in was seamless and checking out was simple. The place is perfectly located with easy access to Yellowstone. It has a mountain view through a picture window or you can enjoy it from the deck. Elk were roaming in the yard daily. The two sets of washer/dryers allowed us to do our laundry midweek quickly so we didn't waste vacay time. The kitchen was fully stocked we prepared our meals easily. Absolutely perfect home for our needs!

Perfect property
This is the fourth time I've stayed with my college class at this property, but the first time with these new owners. The place has always been wonderful but is even better than it was the last time we stayed. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is impressively stocked, and the location can't be beat.

This house was the best VRBO property we've stayed at. The owner was immediately available for questions during the stay. Every electrical switch, cupboard, drawer, etc. was labeled as to what it did or what was in it. Well stocked kitchen with pans , bowls, utensils, coffee pots, mixers, blenders, cookie sheets, etc.. This house was the best VRBO property we've stayed at. The owner was immediately available for questions during the stay. We had school talks in the community and things planned with Yellowstone Forever. All was within walking distance. The house had everything we needed and more. Great set up and accommodations. It was perfect. We all want to return.

We had school talks in the community and things planned with Yellowstone Forever. All was within walking distance. The house had everything we needed and more. Great set up and accommodations. It was perfect. We all want to return.

Perfect House, perfect location!
We came to Montana for a destination wedding for our daughter. This house was perfect for us and extended family. It was super clean and very spacious. The bed in the master bedroom was especially comfy. This house allowed for all of us (14 in total) to spread out and have our own areas to relax. Rob is a super communicator, answering our questions almost instantly. We even had a "welcoming party" upon our arrival... a mama elk and her baby were resting in the backyard! A true Montana special touch! This home is perfect if you plan to spend time inside the park, as it is super close to the entrance.

Everything was near perfect in the house. The basement had two extra rooms. Just an amazing stay. We were only 12, but it can easily fit over 20 people - has 7 bedrooms.
