Amy's house was a great place for our family. It was very clean and the layout worked well for five people. The house itself is highly organized and the artwork throughout is just gorgeous. We thoroughly enjoyed not having WiFi or phone reception for a few days and were easily able to use the Ethernet connection when we needed it. We didn't have a lot of questions for Amy but she was extremely responsive and friendly when we texted. Thank you Amy!

We absolutely loved this property. The home was so spacious inside and felt very comfortable to stay in. The kitchen had everything we needed. The kids loved the game room! The backyard was outstanding. We hung out in the hammock and hot tub every day. The only bad thing was saying goodbye to this home. Hope to stay again.

Very clean and comfortable home with a wonderful back yard!
My family stayed at this great house for five nights during our visit to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. We usually stay at resorts but decided to try something different this time. This home exceeded our expectations and we were all very glad we made the decision to stay there.
The house is very comfortable and spacious, located in a peaceful and quiet area, an easy 20-25 minute drive to downtown Sedona and two hours from the Grand Canyon. It is clean and very well kept. The home is nicely decorated; the kitchen is very well stocked with quality equipment. Loved the organic condiments and cleaning products! The bedrooms had comfortable mattresses and linens. The bathrooms were stocked with quality shampoo and conditioner, soap and lotion as well as plush towels. There is plenty of space to gather but there are also areas to retreat from the group if you choose to. The library had several books that we enjoyed browsing during our stay as well as fun board games to play; Jenga was our favorite! As stated, there is extremely limited cell phone reception in the house and no wi-fi, however, we were able to connect our laptops to the internet as a few of us had to do some work while there.
The back yard was one of our favorite spots. The creek is very relaxing, and the hammock was enjoyed by all. We used the grill to cook dinner several evenings and had a wonderful time in the hot tub and fire pit at night.
Last but not least, Amy, our host was excellent to work with! She is a great communicator and was extremely responsive to all of our needs. She provided detailed information regarding the house, as well as recommendations for places to visit and eat. Thank you Amy for being an amazing host, we will definitely be back!

Beautiful!
This place was perfect for our family! The house was very nice, clean, and very comfortable beds! Having the showers stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, was perfect! Highly recommend!

Fantastic, very well equipped home, large property, great location!
Our stay at this property was perfect! We had a total of 6 staying at Amy's home and were very pleased with the layout, sleeping arrangements, bathrooms, very well equipped kitchen and gorgeous yard and outside eating area. We enjoyed walks on the property that went all the way back to the river which was a very special treat. While enjoying the hot tub one early morning, was also visited by a mule deer who passed through the yard! This was our first time traveling to Arizona, so were very pleased with the location as it was a great hub to go to all the local towns of Jerome, Sedona, Clarkdale, Cottonwood and Cornville. We also went to Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon! Amy was very responsive to any and all questions and promptly responded to our inquires as we were planning our trip. I highly recommend this location and would stay here again!

A group of friends and I can up for a bachelorette party. Amy was by far the easiest and most amazing host I have ever had in my using of using VRBO. She was so attentive, and was quick to respond. We had a tiny glitch during our weekend and she went above and beyond to fix it and was a pleasure to work with. The property is amazing and was perfect for our group of 6! The hot tub was relaxing and the fire pit was comforting. Would highly recommend staying here if you ever get the chance! Thanks again Amy for everything!!!

Our group of six women overall had a nice time at this property. Positives: The hot tub under the stars...the Sonos sound system...Roku TV...the quiet neighborhood...well equipped kitchen...washer and dryer...plenty of gathering space for the group...we were able to shut the door and leave without a lot of garbage emptying, sheet stripping, etc...Amy was accommodating and helpful.
Things to be aware of: Lack of wifi was not a big deal, but it was challenging to use the ethernet cables with our various laptops and we were not able to connect through some of the room's ethernet ports.... it would have been helpful to have a set of written house instructions available to refer to as we had to keep going back to our emails etc. to review what we had received via the internet...there is another home close by on the property that you don't see on the overhead photo on this home's listing...if you don't wish to share a bed, this set up is not good for an unrelated group...the trundle bed is in a very small and the crowded playroom and is more appropriate for one or two children, but not adults looking for a good night's sleep on a comfortable bed...overhead lighting in kitchen could use some dimmers...bring a reading device as there are no bedside lamps.

Women's getaway

Great getaway!
This property was perfect for our family during Christmas! The home was incredibly clean with fantastic soaps in all the bathrooms. The home also has everything you’d need to cook pretty much any meal and a great kitchen to do it in. The hot tub was a huge plus and we used it almost every night. It was very easy to use and felt great after a few days of hiking. There was plenty of space for us all and we loved our stay. It’s conveniently located roughly 30 minutes from the heart of Sedona and almost every hike we went on was 30 minutes away or less. Please note that the road to the home is gravel, but our little Toyota Camry had no problem with it. Additionally, the town of Cottonwood has grocery stores and anything needed for your stay.
I knew before booking it that the home had Ethernet, but not wifi. The Ethernet connection is very strong as two of us were able to work from home a few days of the trip. There’s also a way to plug in the Ethernet to a computer and turn it into a hotspot if you really need wifi. Otherwise it was great to unplug from devices and spend quality time with family.
Finally, Amy (our host) was incredibly responsive. She provided a lot of information about the home, Cornville, and anything else we needed. Of all the places I’ve booked I haven’t had a better host so attentive to cleanliness, responsiveness and willing to help however.

Hidden Gem In Cornville
We LOVED this placed. There is a comfy boho vibe all thru the house with many thoughtful touches. You can tell the property is loved and the owners go out their way to provide a great experience. The backyard was a wonderland for the kids to explore and the hot tub was perfect after a long day. Minutes to wineries and area events.

Our family of six all loved staying at this property in mid November for many reasons! It was just what we needed to balance our vacation in Sedona and the Grand Canyon. We loved the calmness of the little town of Cornville too after a day in Sedona. The drive was an easy 25 minute commute to/from the heart of Sedona and easy access as well to drive to the Grand Canyon. The cottage itself was perfect for accommodating our 3 teenage daughters and 10 year old son. We all had ample space to relax, rest and unwind! We loved eating breakfast on the backyard patio or taking a quick nap on the hammock by the small stream. Multiple nights we spent family time in the hot tub chatting and telling stories of our days adventures while we had a fire going in the outdoor pit! Our son would shoot basketball in the driveway when he was waiting for his sisters to be ready to head out for the day. Amy was extremely accommodating and helpful before arriving and during our stay. She had the house in great shape when we arrived. The cottage was spotless and stocked with so many supplies be it in the kitchen, bathroom, laundry room etc…
Amy’s attention to details are apparent and appreciated. The backyard oasis has so much potential and we look forward to returning sometime in the future to take advantage of this hidden gem again! We truly had a magical trip and I believe this property helped set the tone and vibe for us all! I would definitely rent again!

It was beyond any expectation!
This property is very private (which we loved) and very beautiful. So many lovely details attended to, beautiful furnishings, so well stocked with plush towels, paper products, pots/pans, dishes, etc. The owner, Amy Edwards, was so helpful and communication was excellent. Without hesitation I wholeheartedly recommend this property. Our stay was without flaw. We will definitely come here again. Hated to leave!!!!

Charming Blue Cottage

Beautiful scenic gem
What a special gem nestled away near the creek! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to return. The pictures do not do this place justice! There was so much to explore and the kids played safely outside for hours on end without a single mention of their tablets..
The home was comfortable, welcoming and well stocked with necessities and more. The owner provided many basics such as shampoo, cotton swabs, razors if needed, pool towels for the hot tub etc. The soaps and cleaning supplies are top notch and my favorite clean companies, Dr. Bronner, Ecos, seventh generation etc.
The owners were communicative, but not overbearing, checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, and were quick to answer messages.
We used the hot tub under a gorgeous canopy of trees which is always on and ready whenever you want to hop in. The library doors open up to a scenic patio where we enjoyed cocktails and simply relaxed. The kitchen was well stocked with high quality stainless steal pots and pans, beautiful dishes and had everything we needed to make our meals special. We slept extremely well on comfortable beds with fresh linen.
The only downside is we didn’t stay long enough. Next time we’re booking this lovely home for a week so we can explore the quaint town a bit more!

Fantastic get away
We had a fantastic girls trip. This property was wonderful. The backyard and hot tub were magical. The host was very responsive and gave us great suggestions on places to eat and things to do in the area. Will definitely be back!

Will definitely be returning frequently!
This cottage is magical!! What else can you say about a place that makes our kids forget about screen time without saying a word. It’s like a wonderland for kids! The younger ones had a blast on the indoor climbing wall. The older ones loved playing in the orchard and eating the persimmons and pomegranates off the trees. Afterwards, they spent hours in a treehouse that looked straight out of a Peter Pan movie. There was even a hideout nook cut out of an immense evergreen tree that added to a magical experience for them. My wife loved her quiet walks along Oak Creek and the outdoor dining with sounds of nature all around us. I enjoyed lounging in a hammock while the relaxing sounds of rippling water lulled me to sleep. At night, the stars came out and were amazing! We all loved making s’mores by the fire pit while listening to my son’s favorite playlist over the house speakers. Booking was smooth. Amy was very accommodating and super easy to work with. She made sure that everything was ready for us and was available if we needed anything. She also gave us recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. Tons to do and ran out of time! When we book again, we will stay longer!

This rental is amazing! It’s off the beaten path, so while you’re a close drive to the city, you get the quietness of the country. There are neighbors on either side, but due to the privacy fence and the quietness, you’d never know they are there. The house was extremely well decorated, comfortable, and clean. Fully stocked kitchen if you like to cook. The master bed was hands down the most comfortable out of anywhere we’ve ever stayed. And we’re total bed snobs. Lol. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. There’s unfortunately no WiFi, and cell phone signal was non-existent for us, but they do have plenty of Ethernet cables throughout the home, so if you bring your laptop you can connect with the outside world. There’s also a landline for convenience. The AC unit is top notch, which with the AZ heat, you’ll definitely want. We enjoyed all the birds, lizards, and cute wildlife. Do yourself a favor and say yes to this rental, you will not regret it.

We did outdoor activities around the area so coming back to a goodnight sleep was super important to us. We were able to relax and unwind with small dinners and enjoy the space to social before bed.
A favorite was the amazing back patio with morning coffee. It is so peaceful with a creek running through the property you can see and hear it while back there. Very nice to wake up to.
We did hiking and a Jeep tour of Sedona which is really close. Around 20 mins into the middle of town I believe.
Amy was an Excellent host! She really did go above and beyond to help us with our stay. Great communication with her and it was a pleasure to stay on her property!
