The apartment, rooms, kitchen and shower were all excellent

The stairs outside up to the apartment need urgent work as they are a trip hazard. The lack of car parking, particularly as this had not been made clear in the pre booking (or post booking) informatiom.

The house had a great bathroom and the kitchen was fully equipped. Was also great to have a washing machine and beds were very comfortable.

Occasional noise from the street but I was expecting that - also felt slightly uncomfortable to leave windows open overnight or if we were out.

We were three friends wanting to meet up between Kent & Middlesborough. The Hideout was in the heart of Oakham & within walking distance of some very nice cafes, restaurant and shops. We walked from the property around Rutland Water (17km in total) & ate both out & in. The flat was very well presented and felt like a home rather than a holiday home. It was warm, comfortable and clean. My friends were happy with my choice :)

There wasn't anything we didn't like, but advice upon where we could park and for how long would have been useful. (Unless I missed it!)

Easy location. Stunning flat. Comfortable. Stylish. Had everything we needed. Good value for money

Flat 2 banging door during day and early hours. Street noise was intrusive. Wouldn't put us off booking again and but maybe something to address. Fridge didn't have a freezer section which as staying for a week would have been helpful.

Excellent facilities; really comfortable, well appointed and spacious. There was a lot of attention to detail to make our arrival welcoming.The Hideout was in a fantastic location within Oakham- close to parking and numerous places to eat,all within easy walking distance. Oakham itself was interesting as well as being conveniently placed for destinations such as Rutland Water Nature Reserve, where we viewed newly hatched Ospreys, the NT’s Belton House and Stamford. Highly recommend.

The property is absolutely stunning and much more spacious than I first thought. The beds are so comfortable that I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow!! Ideal location too, not too far from anything and there is a long stay car park just round the corner which isn’t too pricey either. Although we didn’t meet the hosts, they left us a hand written note welcoming us and left all the basics we could need to get us started, as well as a little snack from the bakery. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend for anyone. We went with my three year old and was great for her too. The neighbour is very nice and welcoming too.
