The unit is so close to both Mission Bay and the ocean. We enjoyed biking around the bay and walking along the ocean. While we walked most places, having a parking space was helpful to explore greater San Diego.
We stayed for a month in the front unit. Size was great for two adults and our dog. Outdoor space was nice. Would have been tight inside for 2 more people, especially since we kept our bikes inside.

The property was well kept, clean and well equipped. Washing machine and dryer were a plus. New appliances in kitchen,
Living room very small and could use a new couch and chair. Very limited seating. All in all a great little cottage.

We loved this property! It was in a great location steps away from the beach and the bay! The house was in great condition, clean and the amenities were perfect. The patio was great for evening dinners or drinks and the fire pit was a perfect feature.
We appreciated the welcome packet with all the information we needed for our stay to be successful, and the property managers checked in with us on the first day.
Great place! Will stay here or at another one of the properties - recommend to others as well!

Fantastic location in proximity to the action (1.5 blocks away from beach/boardwalk). Easy to pop out to beach/restaurant and get right back to the unit. Short drive to airport/downtown or neighboring suburbs/beaches also if you do want to explore more. Assigned parking spot was very nice if you have a car as parking can be difficult. We did a long weekend, but the unit is outfitted to stay longer with full kitchen, etc.

The location is great! The house is small, but comfy, cozy and clean. The downside of this property is we had no direct access to our car, which was parked on site behind the unit. (we rented the front unit) We had to walk down the street, around the corner and down the alley to get to it. Made no sense to us. We were told there was parking on the street in front of the unit, however, the locals take up all those spaces. One car was parked there the entire 2 weeks we were there. They parked so close to the front gate that we couldn't get our bikes out...had to lift them over the wall. Due to these inconveniences, we will not be staying there again. Otherwise, the front unit was good, with a nice large patio. The management company was also very responsive when we needed anything.

What a fantastic 1 bedroom place for my husband and I. We didn't need a car because it was walking distance to dining, beach, and bay, though it did come with not 1 but 2 parking spaces! It was nicely decorated, felt new, and had a huge front patio that we enjoyed sitting at night with our wine and the fire pit. The Surf Style staff was helpful, and checkout was simple. We would absolutely stay again!

Ideally located in central Mission Beach. From the from to your left a short block to the ocean, to your right a short block to the bay. Two parking spots! Overall meets what’s advertised. Would return again.

My daughter and I had a nice time. The property is a short walking distance to the marina and the beach. And a short walk for coffee, breakfast and Mexican food. It was a good size for the two of us and our small dog.

This home was the perfect getaway after attending family gatherings during the day.

The unit at 817 San Juan was in a great location between the ocean and bay. The unit was updated and clean. Any concerns were quickly addressed. I think four adults would feel crowded if for more than a couple of days. I would highly recommend this unit and the management team at Surf Style.

Perfect Pet Friendly Pad
I cannot say enough about this unit. First and foremost, thank you for allowing my pooch to join in my five day fall break escape! It was comforting knowing I didn't have to leave behind my girl at the doggie hotel.
The unit has everything you need and more. I even did a quick load of laundry during my stay. The patio served as a lovely coffee spot after the morning walks along the bay and doubled for evening cocktails around the fire pit after watching the sunset across the street on the boardwalk. I have stayed on other units in Mission over the years and this by far is my favorite so far. We will be definitely be back! Next time, I'd like to rent the rear unit too and bring some friends. Thanks Surf Style for a wonderful stay.

Patio area was big with BBQ and fire pit, nice area to relax. Resturants and shopping, as well as Belmont Park, all within walking distance. Reserved parking a major plus also!

We had a great time staying at this property. Everything was clean, everything worked, and the front patio was awesome for hanging out on! I wish they would have provided more than one roll of paper towels for as long of a date that we had. It would have been nice if they had more bath towels as well. We had to constantly do laundry if we wanted fresh towels. The only other annoyance was that the bathroom is located in the bedroom so anytime my son or his friend had to use the bathroom they had to come through our bedroom where we were sleeping. Other than those things, it was a great stay!
