The house is better in person then the pictures. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and time with family. We appreciated the attention by Vacasa when the dryer would not work. New washer and dryer was ordered. Overall great trip!

great house and location on Edisto as long as you don't need to use the two bedrooms/bath downstairs-- damp and with a jet engine dehumidifier. Loved the porch.

Perfect Beach House. Three bedrooms/ two Baths upstairs on main floor (including master) and then 2 bedrooms downstairs with a bath in between. We didn't use downstairs bunk room, but downstairs would have been perfect for a couple with small children. The other downstairs room had what looked like a King bed and the airconditioner was in the room. The elevator was perfect for bringing up my heavy suitcase and then for bringing down the cooler of fish we caught after a deep sea fishing expedition. (book early!) Edisto has several restaurants (in middle of island and on river side. Whole Edisto Beach portion of the island is probably 3 miles long and maybe a mile wide at widest point at southern end. All in all a great place to stay if you want to have quality family time. We did a couple of trips to Charleston (about an hour away) for fun and also visited the islands of Isle of Palm and Sullivans Island (off of Mt Pleasant and North Charleston. One day was spent on the waterfront of Charleston. All restaurants are super casual on Edisto, but good food. Perfect place and house for relaxing. Location was excellent - barely 2 minutes before your feet were on the beach. Small road separates house from beach, but the island itself (and I was there on Memorial Day weekend) is not crowded and even the main road was not busy.

When we arrived, the water had been turned off at the house & street; maintenance had to come cut it own; the 2 individual heating units downstairs did not work; had to call maintenance took them about 30 mins to get the units operational; this was a house for 14 and we had 1 hair dryer; no one preped the front porch/deck before our arrival; chairs and siding mildewed; the kitchen/den had been upgraded and was very nice. Not sure why u have to stop at realty office to pick up/drop off keys; most rental properties I’m accustomed to have keypad entry,

This property was just what we were looking for. I was a quick walk to the beach with an access right across the street. Plenty of parking and space for our teenage kids to have space of there own. I liked how the downstairs area was separated. Gave the older kids space of there own. I would recomend this house. We have stayed in many beach houses over the years. This was small for our group but good.

The house was very bright and open. We were traveling with a 104 year old, and the elevator made a trip to the place where he grew up possible. The beach access near the home was handicap accessible which was also a added bonus. The location worked out perfectly for us.

4 families; 7 adults; 3 young kids - one week pn the beach = awesome SC vacation. House is exactly what VRBO showed. Enough kitchen stuff to cook for 10-14 - worked out very well. Had a great time!

The downstairs rooms are really musty smelling. It’s almost unbearable to sleep in.

The rental process/check in with Atwood was quick and efficient. The home was not adequately described in the listing. Our family unit consisted of 5 children ages 10 and under. The “bunk bed room” could only be accessed from the carport and would have required the children to be alone and locked in away from the family unit at their bed time which is long before an adult bed time. The bunk room and adjoining bath and bedroom had very noisy dehumidifiers and small buckets of deodorizer in them. The musty oder was overwhelming and offensive. The windows and bathroom were full of flies and one of the bunk bed sheets had not been changed and was dirty and sandy. The main portion of the home was clean, and open with the most amazing table that easily accommodated our family. The outdoor living space included an amazing porch and lounge furniture. Super easy walk to the beach.

We had a great time as always at Edisto. Waves of Grace was very clean and updated. Would definitely recommend this property.

Between the location (right across from the beach access), to the what felt like a private road, to the amazing house, perfect front deck, ample room, up-to-date appliances and design, to the great space, we couldn’t have asked for a better property. The only thing I’d note is that there is a separate entrance for the downstairs which may have been in the description but I didn’t catch it. None the less, everything was great! We’ll be going again next spring break.

We came for a getaway for a surprise for my wife's birthday. It was an awesome stay. We had an issue with the garbage disposal, they were there within 20 minutes. The kitchen was updated and clean, and we were right near the beach. I was told before the trip that the grocery store in town would be shut down, and planned accordingly. Had it not been for their communication, I would have been in a lot of trouble. We appreciated the heads up and had a great stay. Would definitely recommend.

Needs were addressed immediately! The location is superb. On the corner, across the street from the beach, and at a beach access. The upstairs is very nice and wonderfully appointed. My group needed to use the downstairs and I was one of the ones who stayed there. There are two bedrooms and a nice bath but the downstairs is damp. I emptied the dehumidifier a couple times a day, ran a box fan, and the overhead fan along with the air conditioner all week -- even in September. Please don't plan on staying downstairs if you have any bronchial issues. I went knowing the conditions so wasn't surprised. The bed is super comfortable and there is a TV in the room with the queen bed. The owners need to do a little maintenance on landscaping. That area needs some work. We plan on going back and cutting our numbers down so no one has to stay downstairs since we are older adults. It's fine for kids. Thank you, Atwood! I love renting from you because of your honesty and integrity and the service we receive from you. You are great to work with. We love eating at Waterfront, Sea Cow, down at the Marina, and McConkey's. Don't forget to stop at King's Market coming onto the island for your produce, key lime pie and other items.
