You will really enjoy sitting on the chairs outside and watching the ocean or taking a stroll down the beach that is 10 steps down from the yard. Location is great too with easy access to Kapaa, Lihue, and other great places. When we come back to Kauai, we will gladly stay here again.

The younger generation loved the UTV tour at the Kipu Ranch, plan on getting muddy and dirty. Didnt eat out much, everything we needed to entertain/cook was at the house. The only issue we had was that we did not have air conditioning for three (3) days, but Victoria, our host, kept us informed of the progress. We all hated to leave the Bond House, but will certainly return.

They had everything we needed from toilet paper and paper towels, soaps and the washer and dryer were really put to use. The beach was one of the better ones we found on the trip. They had enough beach equipment to keep everyone happy. The only complaint we had was the bedroom air conditioning quit working the night we arrived! They tried to get it fixed but the part didn't arrive while we were there. So we had 9 hot sleeping nights! Air conditioning in the bedrooms was the deciding factor in renting a house in Kauai and we ended up not having it. They said that they would credit us for the inconvenience, we will see. All in all great home very clean, we all had a great time. Thanks.

The set up of the house was perfect for us and we liked the location very well since we went horseback riding, chartered a boat, went snorkeling in Anini Beach had cocktails at Timbers , went shopping in Hanalei and hiking at the Queens Pool in Princeville... We stayed for a long weekend with two adult kids and their spouses. The house was every bit as nice as the pictures show and was very nicely set up for cooking and had a lot of beach entertainment gear. The host was responsive to texts etc. Great House with access to the beach for snorkeling and swimming.

Maybe a temporary fence behind the outdoor shower would help feel a little more private. I would recommend this company and this house to my family and friends. The location was perfect- beautiful views and beaches and can snorkel right off the beach. The beds were super comfortable. My only suggestions: most of the house was spotless, very impressed with the overall cleanliness- the main living/kitchen area floor not sure if it was mopped thoroughly as it looked dirty but may have just been stained. The back sliding door is almost impossible to open and close, the track probably needs to be cleaned. And just as a warning the back deck is VERY slippery when wet possibly some sort of non slip coating would be great just from a liability standpoint.

We LOVED the large folding doors to allow the ocean breeze to come into the house all day., A fully loaded kitchen made it really easy to cook meals and have lots of drinks without having to run the dishwasher every day. Bedrooms are roomy with ceiling fans & AC units. Lots of toys in the garage for beach fun. Smart TVs, Sonos speakers around the house to keep the music going. The water in front of the house is a little rough to swim but with 2 beautiful beaches within walking distance, it's not an issue. We would stay here again in a heartbeat

House is showing salt air problems already ie: outdoor screen doors either hard to move and one fell right off and barbecue badly rusted. Despite all this we had a wonderful family gathering to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.

Beautiful home, well appointed features. Unfortunately 2 of the 4 bedroom air conditioners were broken. Although maintenance people came out twice, they didn’t fix or replace them. Be aware of a dangerous night time drive to get to this property. However, once there it was lovely, comfortable, with fabulous views and also the house was very well equipped

My family and I stayed at the Bond Beach house for 5 days/nights this past August and truly enjoyed our time there. We were a party of 8 adults and felt comfortable in the house space wise. We had liked that the house was right on the beach and were not disappointed with the view upon arriving. It was stunning, perfect for viewing the sunrise and the location was great for morning beach walks which were a daily habit. However, beach access was limited in the afternoon due to the tides but we did not mind. The lounge furniture provided was all very comfortable and made for great nights on the deck. We were provided with everything you would need in the house for cooking, eating and cleaning including dish and laundry detergent which was great. With all this said there were some shortcomings. The house is in need of a very deep cleaning. I understand that mildew will build up as it is an oceanfront property. However, there was mold in areas of the house including the sliding door curtain in the downstairs bedroom and the light fixtures in the upstairs bathrooms. Secondly, the light fixture in the front upstairs bedroom bathroom was broken and in need of repair. Finally, some of the bathroom towels had stains on them upon our arrival. Also the jacuzzi had been removed which was something we had not been made aware of prior to our stay. While the above did not ruin our stay at the Bond Beach House I do hope that these concerns are addressed as they will truly improve the experience for future renters.

Great location. Right on the water. Close to all the good stores and restaurants on the north shore. House was great. Needed a little brightening (just a little paint, new carpet, newer furniture). Would be five stars with those minor changes. No problems with rental company. Everything was ready for us. Walked in, threw on swim suit and hit the water. Had a great time.

The house was just right for our large group. Loved having the beach right out front. We jumped in the water about 10 minutes after dropping our bags in our rooms! Snorkeling about 2 hours after low tide was the best. Great location to get almost anywhere else on the island. Tege tege shave ice 10 minutes away at the kapaa food trucks was the best on the island.

Almost one year in advance of our visit to Kauai we booked this home for our family, including daughter, her husband and two grandsons. It was a perfect fit for our family. We frequented farmers markets and fish markets and all cooked together in this well appointed kitchen. The location was perfect in relation to our frequent visits to Lihue and Hanalei, or golf at Makai or Ocean Course Hokuala, or zip lining for the grandsons, or canoeing on the Hanalei River, to the zodiac ride to view the Napoli coast, and the Kīlauea Lighthouse and the amazing laysan albatross chicks. Each morning I was on the deck to watch the sun rise and then walk the very private, secluded beach while the rest of the family slept,in. All in all the Bond house was a perfect fit for our family memories.

The view of the ocean is just breathtaking!! The house worked out perfect for us, we had 10 people in our party and you have a gorgeous view from every bedroom. We all hated to leave there (it was our little piece of paradise for a week) If we would ever go back to Kauai--I would love to stay at that house again!!

This place is a total sham and not what was advertised at all. This was the most disappointing week stay of our lives. Owner/Property Manager take no pride in their home and obviously only cares about making a profit rather than investing in the experience the renter is paying big money for. We had a stressful time and wished we’d had stayed in 2 rooms at a resort instead. Here’s why (I have many photos if interested): - a wide lens camera to misrepresent the size; LR only seats 4 - filthy couches (not the ones in photo) that they must have found on side of road (they claim they’re new!). Mgmt co offered to drop off sheets to cover them up — this is how they resolve the issue of filth and misadvertising! Dining set also not what was advertised on the website and entertainment center was missing completely. These are the things we based our decision on when we chose this place over another cheaper ($2500 cheaper. Also, the mgmt. fed us lies that renovations were done 3 months ago — this house hasn’t seen upgrades since 80s or 90s. Mgmt co offered only a 1 night refund for these misadvertisements. - Unsanitary for families with kids as its INFESTED: Found and complained about numerous live/dead roaches inside, and owner said that’s “normal”. Mouse droppings in kitchen. Mouse sited. - Kitchen is FILTHY! Spent entire time scrubbing it clean. The best thing about the kitchen was the cookware (after you wash them). - Rusty BBQ they say is new, is about 15yrs old and layers of grease and filth had to be scrubbed off. - Mold filled soap dispensers in the bathroom! All bathroom windows haven’t been cleaned in years. - Hot tub wasn’t working properly the first 3 days. Given it was cold out, we were expecting to use it from day one - Downstairs king bed was literally split in half so you sank in the middle of it so you had to fill it with pillows. The master bedroom bed also uncomfortable. - Several indoor doors didn’t close so if you managed to close them, you couldn’t open them! Broken screen door. Downstairs bedroom door didn’t lock - Lounge chairs at least a decade old, skeletal and uncomfortable so we asked to have them replaced, which they did the evening of the third day. Bet they took them away. - One of the two dryers they boast about having was out of order and the dryer and washer were both functional though at least 2 decades old. - Vacuum is cheap and works poorly The only good thing about this place is the beach in back. Stay away!

Its our second time to stay at the Bond House. It was a bit windy this year, but great snorkeling, really great views, and very comfortable for 5 adults and 5 kids. The hot tub was a huge hit at the end of a long beach day!

Our two families had a great stay in Anahola! There were 4 adults and 4 kids and we had plenty of room. The house had everything we needed. We loved sitting outside and walking on the beach in the mornings before heading out for the day. Even better was the feeling of coming back to the Bond house in the evening. We truly relaxed and felt at home. Tree trimmers came and there was a real estate showing but we were asked and put first. The location is the perfect distance from everything! From the far West side to the end of the road on the North, we had great access and never spent too much time in the car. We would definitely stay again. It made our vacation great!!

We checked into this property and in less than an hour, checked out. The listing says "sleeps 10." While that may be true, trying to accommodate 9 adults in the living and dining spaces is impossible. Dining for 6, couches sat 4 max. Photos obviously taken with wide angle or fisheye lens, making those areas appear much larger than they actually are. Only one bedroom could conceivably be considered spacious, with two beds, but no bathroom. The others were wall to wall bed. Only three small bathrooms shared by the 4 bedrooms. Don't expect more than two persons in the kitchen at a time at meal prep time - you'll be running into each other. Access to the "beach" was non existent at high tide and a 4 foot drop from the steps otherwise. Upon arrival, the house was closed up and the stench of mold and mildew was overwhelming. Having a mold allergy, my body reacted immediately and severely, taking the remainder of our vacation to recover. We were fortunate to find suitable accommodation in a hotel not far away. If you have a party larger than 4, think long and hard before booking this property. If you do but the have second thoughts or other options, be sure to cancel well inside the cancellation window. The property owner was not at all compassionate or concerned that his property did not meet our needs or expectations, only about collecting his money and refused to refund anything on our spoiled vacation. I would not recommend this property to anyone for any reason.

It was out of the way of any business and was well maintained and had everything you could want in a vacation rental. It is right on the beach and had a fully stocked kitchen with non-stick pans. That may seem like a weird thing to be so impressed with but every other house we have rented I have spent a few hour scrubbing pans. This place had tons of room and each room was very comfortable. lots of space for teens who may want alone time. lots of room to sit a relax and watch the sun rise or just relax and listen to the sounds of the ocean. Two dryers as well so that you can get all your laundry done. Awesome do not miss out on this one.

Location is great, house needs a little work but is perfect for a beach house! Saw turtles, seals, and a chicken had her chicks while we were there! Bathrooms get a little crowded with 10 people and 3 bathrooms but it all works out. Can't beat the view and can easily get to places on the island.

the house location was wonderful and the house was great, nice floor plan and great amenities. everything we needed, and more. the beach was not as easily accessible as the description but still manageable, a little dangerous for kids and some adults. the house felt dirty apon arrival, maybe the house was cleaned long before our arrival, other then that the place was great, love kauai!
