Seit knapp 30 Jahren fahren wir ins Huize Glory. Die wunderschöne, ruhige Lage und das außergewöhnliche Haus ziehen uns immer wieder dorthin zurück. Das Haus steckt voller Geschichte, und jeder Raum, in dem wir bisher übernachtet haben, ist ein wenig anders. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, und das angebotene Frühstück reichhaltig und lecker. So lange wir können, kommen wir wieder!
Zum ersten Mal konnten wir nicht auf den Turm steigen, der eine atemberaubende Aussicht über das Meer und die Dünen bietet.

The place is beautiful. The people are very helpful and nice, the breakfast was also good.
As a suggestion, it would be nice to have a Vending Machine for drinks /snacks when the restaurant is closed. It was very warm during our stay, and we could not find anything to drink in the evening.

Nice breakfast, we enjoyed the buffet in a bright room with ocean view, the room was comfy, ours was facing the forest opposite to the ocean but it didn't bother us, the location was great, we loved it there!

Location is wonderful. Room is dated. Breakfast was great.
The Bed was very worn down and in need of replacement. I had an awful night with very little sleep as a result.

Warm, friendly staff. Went above and beyond to help and make our stay comfortable. (Thank you Sabine :)). Beautiful location, only 10 mins walk from Bergen-aan-Zee beach. Great natural ‘ speelbos’. Loved the friendly house cats who always greeted us outside.

Rooms very comfortable, fortunately a kettle in the room. The evening meals were really good. Nice wine selection.
Breakfast could have had more variation and imagination and less "out of the packet". It was a typical Dutch breakfast therefore quite boring. Even with Covid considerations it could have been better.

The location of the hotel is great, near the dunes, forest and sea. Nature is the surrounding is absolutely beautiful! The stairs to the rooms is grand, just like in the movies! The rooms are clean which is important to us, Breakfast was nice and corona proof!
The hotel itself absolutely needs an renovation; it hasn’t been upgraded since it ever was built I believe. Lots of old furniture and decorations that don’t do good to the looks of the building - heating of the building is not sufficient, rooms were cold, as windows are single glazed. Reception does not even look like a reception... Garden of the hotel needs a renovation too, it looks quite messy which is such a shame.. food in the restaurant was quite simple. We requested for something vegetarian with additional dietary restrictions which at first was a problem for them.. but possible after we insisted that it cant be that hard preparing a dish with some rice and vegetables... the dishes were also a bit tasteless...

The location is unique, the food fresh and good and the personnel really kind and helpful.
The beds and shower could be better.
