We traveled for my daughter’s dance nationals. We wanted to enjoy the beach while there. This place was the perfect house for it!

My girlfriends & i go to Galveston every year. This was our favorite house! Right on the water, plenty of room & close to town. If i would change anything, it would be the furniture on the deck. But that's all. We loved it!!! The owners were great!! Worth every penny!!!😁🌴🌴🌴

The house was everything we could have wanted. Well stocked with plenty of beach towels and beach toys, beach chairs. The views from the decks and from all areas of the house were fantastic. Our favorite spot was the raised platform on the deck overlooking beach. You are just steps away from the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials ( thank you for the large crockpot), beds were comfy and cold ac. Our family had a fantastic time watching fireworks from the deck on the 4th. Being a holiday weekend the beach was crowded but it didn’t hamper us in any way. The owners went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. Our grandkids have already requested we come back next year. We fell in love with the views and proximity to the beach. It’s everything the pictures show and more. You won’t be disappointed!

Our visit here was just what our family needed this summer. The hosts were very attentive and answered all of our questions immediately. The house was adorable and very well-stocked. I would 100% recommend this to everyone!

Just like in the pictures, this property is steps away from the beach. We had 6 adults and 2 children and we all had a great. A favorite part was sitting on the deck facing the water.

This house is as advertised. It was clean throughout. It was spacious and had plenty of seating. It was steps from the beach. The kitchen was spacious and appliances quality. There were more dishes, pots and pans, etc. than you would ever need. In general, this place had supplies for anything you might need. Beach chairs, toys, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc., supplied plentifully. You don’t come across that often so it was appreciated. The deck is the star. It is covered, so never in full sun. The furniture is plentiful and comfortable. It is a nice respite. It allows views of sunrise and sunset. We spent a lot of time there. On the weekend the parking lot got crowded and a little noisy. Most of the beds were comfortable but I found the master bed not so. It might be a nice addition to have blackout curtains in the bedrooms. So, this house is great. Updated in a quality way. Spacious. The deck! The beach! Well supplied. Clean. Very nice!

We enjoyed being on the beach. It was easy to go out for walks on the beach and the views from inside the house or from the covered balcony were great! Bermuda beach is not far from the seawall or strand entertainment areas. The house was well stocked and we really enjoyed our stay!

Great “on the beach” experience with or without the sand! Beautiful unobstructed balcony views of the beach. Located just off the beach access you can “sit on the beach” from the comfort of the covered porch or take the 2 minute stroll to the sand and water. Beautifully cared for home with everything you need for a great vacation. We will book again!

We came for some rest and relaxation and that’s exactly what we got. Although the weather was a little cold and rainy we still had a great time. We’ll definitely consider the house again in the future.

This was my family’s first time at the beach. I went for it and reserved this house at the beach. Mom win! It was perfectly on the beach. Easy to get to and from the beach. Had pretty much everything we needed. Even some extras. The only thing that was hard was being to short for the top shelf of the cupboards. Definitely will be doing this again and hopefully soon. Owners were wonderful and were very quick to respond.

What can I say about this rental besides it’s perfect. Amazing location right on the beach, great price, very clean, every amenity that you need, fiber internet, and Pam & Rick are the epitome of perfect hosts. We never had any issues but knew they were just a phone call away if needed. We will definitely rent this property again in the future.

This property is exactly as presented on the website. The view is amazing and the kitchen is stocked with so many extras! We never ran out of hot water for our showers even though there were 6 of us. The open design allowed for us to all gather with plenty of room. Every person in our group was totally satisfied with this rental!

It was a smooth weekend even with a few bumps we had a great time.

The view of the ocean was Beautiful. The home was equipped with everything we needed. The owners were very Nice & quickly responded when we had a question. The location is perfect...not too far from the strand & restaurants.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property for our trip to the coast and we were as delighted as the first time we stayed. We have decided this is our go-to property to rent for our trips to Galveston and have already re-booked for our next visit ! The property is very well appointed and there is very little that you need to bring along on your trip. The communications with the owners were very good and both times we have rented, their communications have come in handy whether advising of work on the bridge that may affect our travel off of the island or of a regatta that would be sailing right past the property on one of the days we were renting this last trip. Thank you again for making this property available as a vacation rental. We will be back !

Beautiful beach front property that lived up to the amazing reviews I saw. I was so happy I booked it 2 more times!! Will definitely recommend!

The house was perfect for our family - 2 couples, single adult, infant and small dog. The three bedrooms would accommodate more if necessary. The house is right on the beach and the photos are accurate. It has plenty of space to move around and a gate at the top of the stairs which let the dog move freely on the deck. Especially nice is the covered deck on the front overlooking the Gulf. We were able to sit out most of the day without baking in the sun. It also has some deck chairs on a raised platform so you can look at the water without having to peer over or through the railing. Everything we needed was there, except for food and beverages of course. There was plenty of seasonings and spices which was nice. If you're planning to grill, bring lighter fluid as the match-light charcoal was useless in the wind. It is well located, not as far down West Beach as many developments, which is very nice if you plan to travel into Galveston much. We will definitely consider this house again when we return to Galveston.

Cat Alley was a great place to stay for our first trip to Galveston! It’s location on the beach is perfect, especially when traveling with small kids. The home is fully stocked with kitchen necessities which made preparing meals easy! We loved the deck and enjoyed relaxing in the raised lounge chairs. We hope to make a repeat visit soon!

This is the second year my family has enjoyed a long weekend get away at Cat Alley. The unobstructed view from the deck is amazing and the house is just a few steps from the beach. Plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, as well as pots, pans, dishes, and pantry items. Also, lots of hot water and great water pressure for showers (very important after a day on the beach). Perfect for the six of us, and could comfortably handle a few more. We will be back.

My family and I could not have imagined or asked for a better place to stay for our first time in Galveston. The beach access can't be beat and being able to sit on the back deck with my morning coffee watching the sun rise across the Gulf is about as close to a perfect moment as it gets. The hosts are fantastic and have done a great job with this home. I will be recommending this location to anyone looking for a beach getaway.
