so much communication necessary and forms and .... in order to get the house key, landlord was called away, couldn't answer for a while. Absolute nightmare. It felt the landlord had too many other projects going on which got priority

The house was clean and warm. Loved the little touches like spare toothbrushes plenty of loo paper, makings for a few cuppas and washing/dishwash tablets. Kitchen crockery well stocked, good range of pans. Dishwasher and washing machine simple to operate and worked well. The owners were easy to contact via booking.com or whatsapp and responded quickly even on a bank holiday.

Just minor thing -Would have liked a Christmas tree at this time of year - we had our 4 year old grandson with us, we got a little one anyway, but previous rentals have included one for December hires.

We bought groceries from local shops. This was to cook breakfast at property.

There were a lack of oven trays for cooking for party of 6. There also was no grill pan. This caused issues for us to eating together. Finding condom wrappers amongst other rubbish & a lot of dust under bed that required to be moved against wall, in order for grandson not to fall out bed.

Booking it for one night through booking.com . then being told by the owner I could only stay if I booked for 2 nights as booking .com had got it wrong on their website. i had to book the extra night as the highfield Hotel we were in had no electricity. the house had been cleaned but windows had been left wide open during the storm and soaked one bed, curtains flying out of 2 windows, bathroom full of leaves with snow on the floor of the main bedroom. we were able to dry the quilt on the radiator, we had our own pillows. I do feel i should not have to pay for the 2nd night. I would use this house again though, it is value for money if advertised correctly. other than the damage caused by the storm which reflects my scores

The showers were amazing! The location was perfect, and there was plenty of space for us. Internet access was well received as well.
