The house is gorgeous, tastefully decorated, clean, and very comfortable. The only thing we needed to bring was food and our clothing. I enjoy cooking, and the kitchen has everything necessary to prepare meals. It really is a home, not a house. The location is ideal for going to the beach. A very short walk, and you're there. We went often, and every time, the beach was quiet with very few people. The backyard is very functional and pleasant. There is a garden in the back, as well. As a gardener, I really wanted to prune and weed the garden! Since the hosts are not there, I would assume it is not tended regularly. But, it's still a nice addition. The deck is also a peaceful place to sit and chat in the evening. The neighborhood is quiet. There isn't a lot of traffic since it is residential. The neighbors are also very friendly. The only thing that I might make others aware of is the steep stairs. If you have very small children or elderly, the stairs would be an issue for them. This property was one of the best we have ever stayed at. It's also for sale. If we were in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this house. Also, the check-out instructions were very reasonable. Basically, tidy up and put linens and towels out. I have stayed at other properties where the checkout process was basically doing the cleaning job for them while still paying the cleaning fee. Not so with this property. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. A very pleasant and relaxing vacation. Thank you!

Immensely well thought out kitchen with everything you need. The only thing that was lacking were quality knives. We had a pressure cooker, a food processor, serving plates & bowls as well as a lot of cooking utensils. Fabulous kitchen! And the deck & backyard were also great. We spent mornings sipping tea & coffee on the deck. There’s also a lot of greenery in the house. Loved this!! And thanks to the owner for leaving her FOK cookbook 😉
