A beautiful and well equipped home. The kitchen had really any equipment that you could possibly need and basics such as oil, salt and pepper, and some spices were also on hand. The local Orick Market is very close and really a gem--they had pretty much anything that we needed. We enjoyed watching the elk in the valley beneath us (bring your binoculars)!

The lower floor of the house was chilly despite the central heating (we visited in early March). We used the woodfire stove and this kept the house toasty warm. It would have been helpful to have a few firestarters on hand. Also it was odd that despite the beautiful and huge closets, no hangers were provided.
