Friendly and helpful staff

The art is beautiful. The rooftop is serene. And the staff were very helpful and kind! It was a great location as a solo traveler that felt warm, communal, and a nice respite from the hustle and bustle

While it is centrally located and you can always find a taxi when you’re leaving for the day, the area isn’t well known and it’s difficult to get a taxi to drop you off at the end of the day

If you are into Art, I don't think you can beat this place. The bird song and other animals bring the place to life. It's like a small oasis in Dakar. There are social events in the place which you can participate in and they also serve excellent food and drink so you really don't even have to leave the place. The staff are also very accommodating and helpful.

Make sure you inform them if you will be arriving at unconventional hours. Because of the layout of the city the place is somewhat mid way so it's a substantial taxi ride to attractions. The place itself is competitive in terms of pricing but accommodation in Dakar seems generally on the pricey side.

A beautiful space with amazing artwork. The restaurant was some of the nicest food I've had in Senegal. The owner and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Can't recommend enough! Will be back if I am in Dakar!

Loman and the staff are absolutely amazing! Staying here was like being in a big family house. Breakfast was tasty and fresh every morning. The room was spacious a stunning. Initially, I was in the room with the detached bathroom--which I did not prefer, so Loman moved me across the hall. The view of the foliage from my window was very pleasant. Food! Loman invited me to dinner for Ethiopian night and I was quite surprised. I love Ethiopian food, and they did a great job with taste and flavor. Note that friendly dogs and cats roam the property. There can be quite a bit of mosquitos, so I burned incense sticks to keep them at bay; there's a net over the bed as well. They keep the grounds super clean and I felt safe as woman traveling alone. I couldn't tell you who 'security' was, but I know they knew that I was there and felt they were looking out for me.

Rooms are in a fantastic art gallery. Food is cooked right on the property and is really good. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Very clean. Great pool. Has a roof top bar.

I liked everything about the property.

The staff were very friendly and great. It seems to me, this property is an art house first and foremost, while the lodgings are an afterthought. I like the people, but I think they need to differntiate both businesses. It's a great place to just visit the gallery.

The property did not mention anything about dogs, they had 4 dogs moving about freely, I do not like dogs in proximity and I am allergic. Two of the dogs were barking intermittemtly. It was very noisy, apparently there was an ongoing exhibition. There was also some sort of party in the evening that went into the night. I was under the impression, the guest lodge of the gallery was seprate from the gallery. I had no idea it was in the same place. In the morning, when I was to leave, the entire place still dirty at 8am, obviously because they had to clean up from the night before. The sme person cleaning, stopped midway to put together the breakfast, which was a lil offputting. I was very disappointed with this property, and felt betrayed by the reviews. I had to leave the very next day.
