No comment because I didn’t actually see inside it. I turned up with my kids, couldn’t see how to access the property, instructions were not clear so I called cottages.com (number on booking ref). They had a record of my booking (already paid) so told me to contact the owner. I did, he was pretty rude and said the flat wasn’t available so told me I had to contact cottages.com again. I did and there was nothing else they could do. Millport is small, it was Easter weekend so we could not alternative accommodation. We did try and the people of Millport were extremely helpful. Luckily we did not come over on the last ferry or could have been stranded.

Everything even though I didn’t access it. Two kids in tears. I have been told I’ll get a cash refund, I’ll be looking for more than that including a proper apology. Luckily our weekend was salvaged, we managed to find a hotel in nearby Largs.

This flat is like home from home. Everything you would need for a holiday is in the flat. The flat was spotless. Lovely touches throughout the flat especially the gravy bones, dish and dog towel left out my dogs loved it. The flat is central to all amenities. Lovely pub on the doorstep. Beautiful views from the large bay window. Great walks to the beach and countryside.
