You can hear the beautiful sound of the ocean in your room.

The beach area is un-swimable, a lot of sea weed washes up ashore, the water doesn't seem so good. I found the breakfast to be underwhelming, at one point they ran out of 'sausages'. One thing I particularly did not like, was the owners father smoking at the 'indoor'/covered seating area every morning. I don't smoke nor like the smell of it, so it was quite disturbing. All I can say about Seashore is don't book it because of the wonderful reviews you read or the social media-worthy pictures you see here. Book it as though you are opening a pandoras box, you might get good service and value for your money or a holiday from hell. On one of the days there, the electricity went out the whole day (no electricity means no water in zanzibar, because the motors that power the borehole won't work without electricity. I'm not sure if it was an electricity problem or the owners hadn't paid the electricity bill, cause other places in Kiwengwa had electricity, even the neighbours) The generator the owners had kept tripping, so no electricity for the whole day.

The staff at this place are amazing. Very friendly, very humble, very helpful. You'll fall for them and miss them when you leave. They made my zanzibar trip worth while and shared memories for life. I will definitely visit again. Enjoyed the day bed a lot, lovely location right on the beach.

The English breakfast could improve. Maybe improve on the Sausages and beacon. But then again you get what you pay for.

I opened the curtains and the beautiful sunrise greeted me in the morning. The area was nice and calm and relaxed and the hotel staff was very responsive especially as I had some diet related issues related to my recently finished safari trip.

The sand was too white, soft, and wonderful :)

The hotel is very cute with clean, nice rooms. Staff was very kind and friendly . Beach is like a paradise . Food was very good and high quality.

It is an exceptional and amazing location, room is clean and well decorated, a comfortable bed makes the stay extra special White sand, crystal clear water, and lovely sunbeds make the beach area very appealing Overlooking the ocean from the swimming pool, there is a beautiful view Our food was excellent and delicious, especially the seafood and pizza staff is friendly and smiley, chef is talented in food taste, bartender makes a wonderful drinks atmosphere is specifically designed to create unforgettable memories and romantic experiences

The hotel is a true gem. It is on the southern part of Kiwengwa village, which is very calm and has a beautiful beach right in front. The property has a very nice beach area with hammocks, loungers and mattresses where you can hang out at the beach the whole day. The food was exceptional, portion size and taste wise. And not to forget the staff, who were all very kind, attentive and made sure we enjoyed our stay. We fully recommend staying at this hotel in this beautiful hidden gem part of the island.

bar closed quite early (could be because we were the only guests) - Zanzibar has a lot of power cut offs, so we had almost half of one night no AC ( I don´t know if they have a generator or if it was the same reason, we were the only guests)

This place is a gem! It’s super cozy and private. The people who work there are great. There’s also an italian 5 star chef who will take care of you. Considering going back very soon!

good location, quite place, nice view, hammock on the beach

there was no drinking water in room. I think for this price it should be 100%. our room (1) was close to the gates so it was noisy sometimes early in the morning. There were no shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom. breakfasts were very basic. towels had smell of moisture. mixer in bathroom was broken. for this price needs improvement in service.

The location was perfect. The breakfast was good , freshly baked confectionery and fruits, juice made from real fruits. No additives

The location on the beautiful white sand beach was absolutely stunning. The staff were really kind, friendly and helpful. The pool area was sheltered from the wind on a windy day and a lovely haven to relax.

The mattress on the bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked. The ‘hot tub’ was not a hot tub - it had several jets but was not what we expected.
