We were here for 6 nights: It was close to where you can swim the couple taking care of the home was nice.

- Between 22:00 pm and 11:00 am there is NO WATER. We were in a room and moved because there was no way to use the toilet nor shower because you couldn’t flush or anything. When there is water, it is very weak. Too hard to shower well. And when we moved we still had the same issues with the water, so we basically just got a worse room with a slightly better bed. -The bed was super uncomfortable in the first room, the second was okay. -Bad odors in the bathroom. -Second bedroom was infested with mosquitos and very dark and it smelt musty. -The AC worked the first two nights in the second room and suddenly stopped working and was making a super loud noise so we had to use a fan. -The couple very sweet and their girl was adorable but they couldn’t/sidn’t do much to help us with these problems.

I liked that there was a kitchen and shared space.

There was no one on site to ask for help. There was a cleaning lady until 5, but she was not able to answer my questions. There was a lot of mold in the room, and I felt sick from it after the first night. I sent a message to the owner and asked if I could switch rooms for the second night. The owner said they would get back to me by noon, and they never did. I had itchy eyes, sore throat, and cough from all the mold. It was frustrating to not have anyone on site who could help. The bed and pillows were of low quality and uncomfortable. The bed sagged in the middle. The cooking supplies were of low quality and didn’t have a large knife for cutting veggies or a pot to boil water.

Clean private room with an aircon. Quiet area but not that far from the center. Well equipped kitchen. Possibility to store luggage on the check-out date for free.

Host provided us Wi-Fi and password in advance so we can contact them in case of late check-in. Luckily we had data because the Wi-Fi didn’t exist and the password was also off. Host didn’t provide the correct information even when we asked. Luckily other tenants shared.

They had pets allowed set on the booking website. When we arrived, they told us nothing about it; the next day, they very rudely interrupted our breakfast to tell us that they wanted 1000 pesos to sanitize the entire place because of the dog. They changed this site add to no pets allowed that exact moment. To add context, the dog is tiny, and we took it outside for his necessities. What they did was only to rip us off.

Good location, clean environment

Gap around doors allowed for mosquitoes to enter all night, no bike rental available as per the description and unfortunately bad smell in bathrooms during our stay.
