Great room, clean, bright. Location was good for the US Open & Manhattan access. Right by subway (7/E/G) & across from Trader Joe's.

LIC is sleepy if you're used to the city - everything closes early and there is nothing to do there. They could use a lot more luggage storage so you're not stuck there after checkout before a flight. Late checkout should not have a fee. The hair dryer needs to have an OFF button - it constantly runs unless you unplug it and the only place to put it down is the sink, really poor design.

The staff were great. Both beds comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied. Location excellent.

Court Square is very noisy. The unfolding couch had food stuck in the cushions.

Good location near Court Square subway station with excellent connections to Manhattan, Brooklyn and airport. No keys required as everything works with a code and the app. Trader Joe's supermarket and excellent 24/7 diner across the street. Moma PS1 a 3 mins walk away. Great view of Manhattan. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The train around the block does make noise, but you get used to it quite quickly. Fold-out sofa in the living room is not very comfortable.

Perfect location. Close to Manhattan, the East River, and restaurant and business. Staff so friendly and helpful. Door person. 24 hrs. Train station right outside. Nice neighborhood.

The people were lovely the access and air conditioning or easy to control and the location was perfect close enough to be in Manhattan in minutes far enough away to be quiet.

Had to key numbers into the lift as a dyslexic I found this quite hard.... A Bluetooth connection like the doors of the room would be perfect.... Not a problem to most people

My first visit to Big Apple for 10 days has become a memorable one. A bustling multicultural mega city, this Queen of all cities is very special. The food, the people, the transportation and Sonder accomodation overlooking Manhattan skyline and Court Square subway - all together and my visits to many tourist spots in the city is an unforgettable experience. My wife and I are giving special compliment to Zac, your security guard for his exceptional help.

This Sonder met and exceeded my expectations. The location was in a great area - easy access to Court Metro Station, two minutes walk Traders Joes, and lots of great restaurants in the neighbourhood. The door code system made everything easy, having security was definitely a plus. The two-bedroom suite was huge by NYC standards, two large bedrooms, beautiful kitchen/dining area, and large living room. Roku system, cable channels. Filled with natural light in every room from windows. Bathroom large and supplied with quality products. The kitchen had beautiful dishes, glasses and cutlery, top quality appliances, and knives. The decor is calming and minimal, the property was super clean, and beds and linens top quality. Really appreciated the supply cabinet on the main floor to top up supplies. I have stayed in various airbnb properties in NYC, but this Sonder is where I will return to time and again.

I really have nothing negative to report. If someone is sensitive to noise, the train ran below our living room window, but something that is easy to live with. Did not affect sleeping.

You have an absolute gem of a property at Sonder. So very close to the subway and minutes away from Manhattan. Food, diners and bars very local. Apartment was very clean, smart and everything we needed. I will be recommending Sonder to friends and family that's for sure.

There was not one thing we didn't like about the property. But we did complain that someone had been smoking cannabis on the 9th floor by the lifts the smell was absolutely horrendous. But this was dealt with and everyone was sent an email regarding this problem.

Fantastic view over Manhattan, away from the buzz, near public transport and shop/food, kind staff.

The place is clean. It is in NYC. There is adequate parking nearby.

BUYER BEWARE: this is a ripoff. Sadly, Booking.com is part of the problem. To begin with, there is an above-ground subway line right in front of the building. Booking.com deliberately hides this in the fine print and Sonder is aware of this and says nothing. So, unsuspecting foreigners and others will book this for a week and find that they will get ZERO SLEEP. Also, there is no one there, and I mean no one to help you. Good luck getting into this place at night. If you have not gotten your code, prior to arriving you are going to be in BIG TROUBLE. Also, the air conditioning is not good. The room was hot most of the time. And, the toilet flushed all day and all night and there was no one there to do anything about it. So, if you like noise all day, you want to be in a place with zero services, and pay $500+/day, go for it, otherwise, avoid this place like the PLAGUE.

horrible experience! stay away! employees are inefficient and no service was provided. it feels like you are sleeping on the train station since you will be almost 100 meters from the train line.

the checkin process is awful. i contacted the hotel during 4 days and all i got was automated messages. when i arrived at 1 am there was only a security guard. and if the guy didn’t allow me to use his US phone ai would be in lhe middle of the street. trains are almost inside your room the whole night ! noise is very 20 minutes. almost did not sleep at all.

The subway goes by the windows all night and made it difficult to sleep. Also there is a motion sensor light in the kitchen which can detect movement in the bed –– so if you roll over in the night, all of the lights go on. Quite annoying. You have to enter the building and elevator using keypads/code –– the keypads barely work –– that was frustrating at night to get into the building. I had to call customer service phone number to get the wifi password –– seems like that should be standard by now! Lastly, there is really no staff here –– when coming in from a long flight and there is no one to welcome you or even answer the smallest question, it feels quite cold and anonymous.
