We spent 4 wonderful days in Sidney at this property and appreciated to the max the kind hospitality of the owner , who accommodated us without hesitation when we requested permission to arrive one day earlier than anticipated when our travel dates changed .
The amenities are well stated in the offer listing , but convenience of the location being close to downtown Sidney truly made our stay manageable since we did not have a car. The property itself is nicely decorated and there is peace and quiet overnight that enables a restful sleep on very comfortable beds
We would definitely stay at this property again if available

The owner was very polite and quick to respond. They accommodated all our needs and we enjoyed our stay a lot.

It is a clean and well appointed half duplex with a private yard. The location is not so far from the Sidney city center, maybe 15/20 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive. We especially appreciated the space for our dog, that is new to the family.
Our host was very easy to deal with, and they tried to provide everything you might need. I would recommend this place in general, unless you are needing something fancy or upscale. This place is for certain more on the practical side.

Very clean and well located to downtown Sidney, Ferries and airport. Ideal for couples but small for families. Outside deck furniture needs updating.
There is a second rental with a divided wall. We were fortunate to have quiet neighbors for most of our stay but the last night we got new neighbors who were not as quiet so this could be an issue.
Easy check in and out. No air conditioning and it did get warm. Paper products and basics in kitchen provided. Overall it met our needs. Hosts were accommodating electronically.

The apartment was nice and basically clean. It is in a good neighborhood and close to downtown Sidney. The addition of an easy chair or recliner in the living area would make it more comfortable. Updating or replacing some of the kitchen utensils, adding extra glasses and a coffee mug or two is needed. My dog enjoyed the fenced back yard. However she's a small terrier and the wide spacing of the decking was treacherous for her--maybe the addition of a runner on the deck. My husband and I laughed over the baby clothes hangers in the closet, but saw no adult size hangers! One big improvement would be shelving in bathroom closet and a dresser or shelving in bedroom. There was was no place to put luggae or clothing. Overall a good place to stay in Sidney:: it just needs a little TLC!

This home had all the basic necessities and was a convenient location for us to visit with family in Sidney. The neighbourhood was very quiet which was great. However, the two double beds in the only bedroom were very hard and caused some back issues for us. Both beds appeared to be older mattresses with foam or pillow topper added. Could use new mattresses and then this property would be perfect!

This property is run down and although the house was clean it had an odour of mould covered up by scent.

Unfortunately when we arrive later at night and tried to get in, someone come to the door and showed us their booking for the place for the night. It was late, we had a dog so looked for a dog friendly hotel asap so we would have somewhere to stay. Unfortunately we were unable to resolve this issue with the owner and thus are out of pocket for the rental. We had no phone number to contact owner. Lesson learned for us!

nice little place to stay
We enjoyed our stay at this little house. The host was very responsive and quickly helped us remedy a misunderstanding. We had everything we needed for some simple meal preparations and enjoyed the pleasant back yard during the nice weather. The house is a medium length walk, through a quiet neighborhood, from the water and a bit longer to down town. Overall this place met our needs and would be about perfect as an inexpensive stay for two travelers.

Property was well located for my commute to the airport and within walking distance of the town center. We met the owners and they were friendly and working hard to spruce up the yard. The yard was invaluable as our Cocker Spaniel travels with us.

Online communications with Manager before the trip were back and forth on whether I would get a refund when I found out neither of the beds in the suite were Queen-sized. This was unclear in the advertising.
As it turned out, Manager went to some effort to accommodate our Queen (60 x 80 “) bed needs with us both being tall. For future VRBO engagements anywhere, I will not likely go along with full payment of accommodation during the initial (2 months before) online registration.
A concern that came up in a recent VRBO review of this suite before we arrived was handled swiftly and well done.
Ultimately the experience was good. Thank you.

2 week stay
3 stars at best. Killed ants and flying ants daily. Decorated with "early attic" furnishings. Sofa is disgusting, non functioning and very uncomfortable. Get rid of it!
Interesting to note that sofa is not the same as photos.
Most rentals offer coffee and tea supplies. Not here, just frozen fish sticks. I will not stay again and recommend others be cautious.
