This cottage was sweet and perfect for our stay. The lake was warm, very shallow and inviting. I was a bit surprised about the lack of privacy and nearness to the neighbours but it worked out fine for our family. I would definitely return.

Cute and beautiful bungalow that really feels like home. Attentive and professional hosts. Fully equipped kitchen with every amenity we could need - we brought some kitchen things and cleaning products and bathroom essentials but the host actually provides all these things so you don't have to pack as much/if you forgot something they likely have it. Furniture is on the soft side if that matters to you (individual preference), shower is a little tight if you're a larger person. Overall a very nice vacation.
10/10 would rent again.

We spent 3 nights at this great cottage. It was incredibly clean, fully stocked and close to town. Waking up, looking out at the lake was a treat. Quiet area, which is what we were looking for. Communication with the owners was good, making the check in process a breeze.

The property fit exactly what we needed; a peaceful environment with a spectacular view! We will definitely be visiting again and possibly for a honeymoon layover next fall!

We had a nice stay (two couples). The kitchen is very well stocked! The only problem we had is that it was a very cold weekend and the bedrooms do not have heaters installed. There are portable heaters but we found that it would get quite hot leaving the heater on so we would have to get up and turn it off and then would later wake up freezing! Other than that, the cottage is very lovely.

The cottage was so clean, beautiful and cozy. It had everything we could possibly need. The beach was the best part for us because we have two small kids and it's shallow for so long and clean sand as well. The kids loved it. We had made fires while watching gorgeous sunsets. The cottage is so quiet and peaceful with the most amazing views of the lake right from the bedroom. Can't wait to go back again

We stayed for a week with our two toddlers, they were very excited. The children loved playing in the sand and walking into the water.
Cottage is clean and near downtown Minden, a nice place to walk around the river and get an ice cream.

The sandy beach and shallow bottom of the lake was great for the children to play in. Also had great a large deck good for BBQ and lounging on. Only criticism was that the master bedroom was quite small.

Great Stay on Horseshoe Lake
This property is everything you need in a cottage on Horseshoe Lake. As a family who have recently sold our cottage on the Lake this was a perfect place to continue our family tradition of a July 1st weeks vacation in an original style cottage, with some added features (wifi, AC and smart TV). Check in and out were quick and easy and the property has everything you need. We brought our own floaties and spent most days on the dock or floating in the water. Its has everything you need to cook on both a stove and a BBQ.
Thanks for a great stay, my mother in law was happy to be back on the lake and be able to see all the progress being made on our old property :)

Great place to relax
The cottage is cozy and functional. Kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of games ro keep busy inside and outside.
Most amazing is the access to water. Don't forget to bring your kayaks and canoes.

There were six of us staying to attend a wedding in the area. We found the cottage very clean, updated and well kept. Well stocked kitchen and beds were comfortable. They even supplied sheets and towels, which was a bonus! Bedrooms were smallish, but the cottage was perfect for our group.
