Dishwasher wasn`t working on arrival, but quick communication had them installing an entire new dishwasher with an impressively quick turnaround. This is a great place for a family or a group of friends. Each person/couples gets its own privacy while the common areas have a great layout and super cozy feel. The house is close from a very nice costal trail and 10-15 min walk from a beach and 20-25 min from a nice surfing spot. An amazing place for young family- the space, the simple decor, the layout of the place, the rooftop and the fenced in yard was perfect for our family! It was spacious and amazingly clean. The home was spacious and accommodating for a large multiple family stay. The large kitchen and open floor plan was a great setting for family fun. Having the bungalow was perfect for our son with young children who went to bed earlier than the rest of us. The location was easy to get to and close to the ocean. We all enjoyed the crows nest! This is such beautifully unique space. The pictures didn`t do it justice. We were thoroughly impressed with the host`s prompt responses. The location was perfect and there was everything we needed at the house. I would definitely come back to this one. This unit is probably the best unit in the best location on this property. The write-up is accurate in that you have unobstructed views of the ocean. You also had daily views of the sunrise and sunset. We were fortunate to see two whale sightings and dolphin sightings from the balcony. We would definitely return to this unit in the future. Complex was lackluster but this unit was ocean front and had amazing views. Parking was a bit cumbersome especially with luggage but there is ramp access. The first night there was a bad storm and water did leak into the living room area but the unit is spacious and was nice to have a washer and dryer. This was our first trip to Kauai and I think this place spoiled us. Daily routine was watching the sunrise from the lanai and sipping coffee until the water had turned blue, at which point we would start to spot sea turtles playing in the water about 50’-75’ feet away. Then we would wander out and explore the Poipu area and come back for a late lunch to watch more sea turtles and the occasional groups of dolphins. Being from Alaska, we were glad to also see the spouts and playful breaching of humpback whales in the distance. Although we enjoyed sunsets from several places on the island, again, they were best from our very own lanai. The property manager was very responsive and had set my wife and I up with an arrival gift of bubbly to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary, which was a thoughtful touch. Fantastic house! Clean but no air condition. I never received the codes for entering the house. We had to call the day we arrived.

My family of 10 had a wonderful time at this home. It was spacious, airy, and beautifully designed and decorated. We loved hanging out on the upstairs roost and watching the sunset; eating dinner outside on the deck; and hanging out in the big kitchen and common room. There was plenty of space for people to spread out, and the bedrooms were comfortable, clean, and private. We loved that there were lots of useful items in the house that we could take advantage of--full kitchen supplies, beach chairs/umbrellas/boogie boards, a first aid kit, and even a crib for my cousin`s baby! This house really exceeded our expectations and was exactly what we were looking for for our family retreat.
