Clean and comfortable!

This location was close to town and the parking was easily accessible. Beautiful fireplace, perfect for evenings in, cuddled on the comfortable couch with tea and fresh baked brownies. Space is very open and we enjoyed playing the provided games. When we had any questions about the apartment and the amenities, the hosts were very responsive and helpful.

We had a lovely stay at this location. Clean and well organized. Easy to get to and close enough to "downtown". Communication was easy and timely.

Wow. First off, I am dying. The owners know this. I can barely walk or sit because I have a 6 inch tumor in my uterus that is growing into my intestines and has taken over my bladder and is trying to kill me. I’m having an aggressive and very risky surgery in 2 weeks to try and remove it, and multiple organs, and I took my son on this quick trip because this year had been a excruciating nightmare. I may not make it through the surgery so wanted to take my my kid away for a few days to try and forget about it all. What would’ve been a good review changed when the owner suddenly turned on me and called me a liar and came at me when we got snowed in and couldn’t leave! Her snow removal guy was not calling me back to schedule him to dig us out even though I called and texted him 8 times! She said I didn’t call him. Then when we finally get dug out a day later than we paid for, I had to go immediately to work at the law firm I work at- that night she sent me a link to pay the extra day but the link didn’t work. I contacted Vrbo and was sent another link that didn’t work. I worked the next day (yesterday) and got home and contacted Vrbo again for another link to pay and finally that link worked so I could pay for the extra day. She called me and left a very nasty message. She said I forced them to leave the residence when that is so completely not true! I’m super kind and friendly. AFTER I booked, she emailed me and said btw we have company and will be staying above you while you’re here. I only emailed that because I’m terminal, we are coming up for some peace and quiet. I never told or forced her to leave! My gosh. I would never ever do that. And now she leaves me a rotten review. We travel a lot and never have problems with owners or hotels. Everyone loves me. We’ll be staying at hotels for awhile though after this crazy lady got me all wrong and ruined this trip that was meant to soothe our souls after the worst year of our lives.

This was a very last minute trip and because of that the cabin we normally stay in was booked. I must say I am glad it was! We discovered this little hidden gem. It was very spacious and comfortable as well as being well stocked. My daughter was delighted with the owner told her she could take a large pinecone from the back of the house! Best of all is there was a dishwasher! Busy mommas you know what I am talking about. They even supplied shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. We will be back for sure.

Well equipped, peaceful place to stay and enjoy fresh mountain air. Quaint Idyllwild has many good places to dine.

This is the first time we’ve ever stayed at this property. We really enjoyed it. It is set up as a cute studio apartment with all the accompaniments and kitchen essentials (even a garlic mincer😃) so we didn’t need to bring a thing! Wonderful private location among the pines, with a killer view of Tahquitz rock at the end of the driveway looking uphill. The bonus room came in so handy. We stored all of our luggage and extra boxes in the room until we were ready to leave. We will definitely be returning!

The kitchen had everything needed to prep, cook and clean-including vinegar to clean off stubborn egg whites. I did not need to bring my own apron, new sponge, and spices The cabinets had drawer handles and the pots and pans were heavy duty. I did not use the fireplace because I like a little chill in the room, but there were plenty of extra blankets. There was plenty of parking too. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. The hosts treated me like family. I will be back.

The property was exactly as advertised - beautiful, clean, well appointed and quiet. It is close to town with all its amenities, but far enough away that you feel you are in the woods. The scenery is stunning and I took daily advantage of the many hiking opportunities. Thank you for a delightful stay!

We really loved the promptness of communication by the owners. On arrival, the studio was spic and span and had everything needed for our short stay. Located in a quiet neighborhood in the dog friendly town, the owners accommodated my request of bringing 2 Dogs. Will visit again!!!

The home was just as described, perfect for my wife and I and 11 year old daughter. Very quiet neighborhood in the trees, just what we wanted while staying in Idyllwild. Would definitely stay here again. My daughter had fun collecting the giant pine cones and playing corn hole.

The Owners greeted me upon arrival, which made the check in process very easy. They were eager to help me with the lock Box and to show me around the studio as I was the 1st guest. They were clearly very thoughtful in the way they put together the studio from the Shampoos and conditioners in the shower to the spices and such in the kitchen cabinet. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. I would recommend perhaps facing the hes seeing the bed and the 3rd direction so that it's right not right next to the fireplace. That way if you're sensitive to smell you will not pick up the smell of the fireplace. Overall great place to stay and I would recommend. I was also surprised that it could sleep several more people which would be a plus during snowy season.
