The house was everything advertised and more. You walk through the door and it has the wow factor. A big, beautiful, modern house with an incredible view. The beach was secluded so you have plenty of privacy. Pensacola is less than 30 min so there are things to do within easy driving distance. New Orleans is only 3 hours away so we took advantage of a day trip (very well worth it). We were completely blown away by this house.
The only negative was attempting to communicate with Vacasa. I paid for the pool to be heated for the week and it was cold when we arrived. It took two days for it to be usable. Every time I contacted Vacasa I was told the local office would contact me. They never did and that was two weeks ago… and counting.
I did receive an email acknowledging the pool heat not working for two days and they would refund me for one day. Makes no sense. Incredibly frustrating when you’re trying to solve a problem during your stay and NO ONE will return calls or texts. Still dealing with this and my check out date was a week ago. Insane.

The house itself and the location on the beach are fabulous - perfect for our large family gathering at Thanksgiving. We paid to have the pool heated and spent a lot of time there! The house is big enough to have your own space, but also has great common spaces to gather together. The beds were all comfortable and more than enough bathrooms, etc. The kitchen is also well-supplied if you're planning to cook.
There were a few minor issues when we first arrived (for example, we were given incorrect wifi network info and we couldn't use the grill), but they were quickly resolved and the local office went out of their way to get us everything we needed. We really appreciated it, especially around a holiday. One note - if you're planning to eat at the house most of the time, bring extra dishwasher pods or paper plates (and if the latter, extra trash bags too). We were provided less that 1 pod & bag/day, which just wasn't enough for our whole family cooking at home. But other than that, I cannot recommend this house strongly enough—we would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful time at Sandy Feet Retreat. The house was very clean and comfortable and the check in process was extremely smooth. Lots of seating inside and out. The beds and furniture were extremely comfortable. The only complaint we would have would be the house could use more silverware, plastic plates and cups.

We enjoyed our stay here! If you’re looking for a comfortable house on a secluded beach, this is it. There was plenty of room for our 4 families. The only part that wasn’t right was that we paid for the pool heat, and it never got turned on. We were refunded, but it was a little process and seemed like there were some miscommunications. All in all, we loved this house!

Gorgeous home with two huge patios facing the ocean, a perfectly sized pool to cool off in if the ocean is not calling your name, and pretty much a private beach! No fighting for your piece of beach real estate early in the morning staking out your spot like at the condos, the location this home is positioned in, you walk down the private boardwalk straight to your beach heaven, just you and your loved ones. It could not be better! Beautiful home, very spacious rooms- three with private bathrooms, very comfortable beds, and a huge sectional to sprawl out on with your friends and family should a storm rain out your beach day. PLUS a living area upstairs perfect for kids to play video games or watch a movie and an adorable bunkroom! There is a laundry room with an ice machine to fill up your coolers. There is even a Blackstone griddle large enough to grill out for a huge group. Plenty of parking space for a large group, and a lovely furnished kitchen to make your meals in. Truly, with order-in-service and delivery grocery services, you could check in here and never leave while on your vacation if you truly want to retreat from the world. With so many great restaurants so nearby, however, you may be tempted to venture out from your private beachfront oasis. Three of the large bedrooms have sliding glass doors that lead to the patios. You can literally lay in bed, open the large sun-blocking curtains and gaze out upon a perfectly empty beach and occasionally see dolphins jumping thru aqua blue waters, and the occasional sailboat pass by. It is beach perfection! So peaceful, private, and beautiful! There is nothing I would change, and I hope to vacation here again next year!

You will fall in love with this place. The home itself is incredible, a quiet location and amazing beachfront that is very private. We came with 9 people--4 adults, 5 kids and everyone was in love. The pool was such a highlight for swimming after the sun went down (so warm!) and the house was perfectly comfortable for hanging out after. My only critique is there are no beach chairs or equipment provided (just beach towels); plus, the kitchen could use some tupperware for food storage and some more plasticware to have poolside. Otherwise this is the best VRBO I have ever stayed in and would not hesitate to book it again!!

We enjoyed a much needed get away at this beautiful & spacious beach home! It was so peaceful & relaxing. So much room, on point decor, & extremely clean! Magnificent views of sunrise & sunset. We spent a lot of time on the balcony & we absolutely loved the private boardwalk to the beach. Do yourself a favor & book this one of a kind home…you’ll be glad you did!

Beautifully decorated home with cozy gathering space in kitchen and living area. This was the perfect choice for our family and we hope to return in the future. Listing is as advertised. Beautiful swimming pool did not disappoint. Highly recommend this gulf view rental!!!

The house was wonderful, we enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for our family, 7 adults and my 5 grandkids. The view was fantastic, the pool ( in November) was perfect for the kids. I liked the walkway to the beach and the beach itself felt like our own private place. The location was convenient to restaurants, fishing and the Pensacola airport. We would definitely stay here again.

My family of 3 children and 6 grandchildren loved Sandy Feet Retreat that had a pool on a private beach. The house was spacious for all 14 of us and it was cute and clean and up-to-date modern. We were able to play in the surf and sand and then just walk back to the house. We were so so so impressed with the management company of Vacasa. When we had issues, they were there almost immediately to fix the problems. We were grateful for the attention that Vacasa gave to our needs. We will always look under Vacasa to book any of our future vacation homes. Thanks for the wonderful memories, Sandy Feet Retreat.

The Sandy Beach Retreat was the perfect house for my family. It was not only spacious, but also beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed the private pool and the deck area for hanging out and cooking. The quiet beach was definitely appreciated and loved by all. We would recommend this house and consider staying here again.

The house itself was very nice, it was nicely decorated and everything was updated and clean. However we did have a couple of main issues that were a major draw back and very disappointing. 1) VACASA didn't tell us about the construction that would occur during our 2 week stay. The website didn't post about the construction nor did VACASA email to let us know there would be Construction noise. Saturday and Sunday were the only peaceful days. Monday through Friday there was a lift that ran from about 7:45 to 4:30 everyday with loud beeping, like a truck backing up. We understand it is Florida and there seems to always be construction to repair Storm damage, but there was no relief from it. VACASA said they could not do anything about it. It could be heard throughout the house. No peace and serenity, no late sleeping, and baby had hard time napping during the day. 2) The other issue was the pool cleanliness. It was cloudy and had a lot of sand it in upon our arrival. We understood by the Website the pool was to be cleaned every Monday and Thursday, but we called VACASA just to let them know the condition of the pool, so they could call the Pool company. The answering service said they would let them maintenance team know. When no one returned our call we figured they would come on Monday, but no one showed up. We called again. Someone came and said they cleaned the pool and added chemicals. We waited a couple of days and the water never cleared. Thursday and the next Monday no Pool maintenance people showed up, so we called VACASA again. The Pool guy finally showed up the following Wednesday (2nd week of the stay), but never corrected the problem with the pool. I called VACASA again, but the issue was never corrected, nor did the VACASA maintenance team call back. VACASA provides a Text service so you don't have to call and wait on hold. This is really nice and you receive a text back pretty quickly letting you know they are turning it over to the Local Maintenance Team. What is so frustrating is the maintenance team never called back. We really don't think this was the owners fault, but they should reach out to VACASA to request they improve their service to customers. The house was very expensive and we felt we should have recieved better service for our 2 week stay.
