The property is so nice beautiful decorated. Such a quaint and very quire neighborhood and was so close to everything if we wanted to walk to get exercise we could. We so enjoyed the stay that we will be back. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home.

Lovely house, pictures were spot on. The location was perfect for visiting the sights in Mount Airy and a quick drive to Pilot Mountain. A must is bike riding along the river. Will definitely be back.

Thanks for the coffee and staples. For our short 2 day visit it was nice to not have to buy those things. The home is close to everything but your still out of the way. I hope to stay next year but longer i suggest a fire pit outside and tvs in the rooms. Love the porch. Love the town.

I never write reviews BUT I just have to say what a lovely place. It was super clean, comfortable and so convenient to the downtown area. Will definitely stay here again!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit there. The house is lovely and everything was so clean. All that we needed for our stay was provided and the property manager was very responsive and accomodating.

I don't know what happened to my original review. After I submitted it, VRBO confirmed the submission by saying it may take up to 2 wks for it to appear on the site. Yet, my account now shows no review, so here I go again! Anyway, we had a great stay. We found the home very clean and comfortable. The neighbor across the street can be a bit talkative. We chatted with her a while on the first day but then didn't really interact with her again for the rest of the trip. The full or queen bed in the second bedroom was very comfortable! The kitchen is nice. We didn't spend anytime in the back yard. We were very pleased with the no pets policy as it is becoming increasingly difficult these days to find a place to stay where people have not had their dogs and cats and "emotional support animals" lying all over the beds we're about to sleep on and leaving fleas in the carpet. The front porch was lovely. The home is conveniently located to downtown. The parking arrangement is pretty good. We didn't have any issues. You will have your own driveway right next to the house. Everything was very good and we would definitely stay here again. If I were selfish, I wouldn't leave a positive review because I know that booking here might be more difficult next time as more and more people read such positive reviews and decide they want to book there too, but Anthony Holland was a great host and he deserves the accolades. For one thing, communication with him was top notch!!

Great house to visit all of "Mayberry". Host is awesome even left us some fresh strawberries. Loved the Christian atmosphere.

The house was very clean & comfortable. We had to find the fragrance emitters & get them on the deck outside because they were offensive to us. Verbiage is overbearingly everywhere, found myself looking at the floor so I wouldn't be admonished about something else. The shower was excellent. And we enjoyed the layout of the kitchen. The front door was so sticky & difficult to open & close I had to get my husband to do it. It's a problem. Also if you are short you need a step stool to get into the queen bed it sits so high. This was my first time using the VRBO platform so I wasn't used to pulling trash/recyclables & starting laundry. The neighbor was friendly.

House is very cute, well stocked with all you need, and is as described, close to everything but in a quiet area.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay. The location is super close to Mayberry themed attractions as well as the quaint downtown. Ate at the Snappy Lunch and sat in Floyds barber chair. The house was clean and so tastefully decorated. We felt welcomed and peaceful sitting on the roomy porch. The owner was so generous and offered early check in and late check out. Would stay again when we are in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We weren’t too sure about the street it was on when we first drove down it, but we didn’t have any problems at all during our stay. The host was wonderful, and we had a great time!

A very welcoming, clean, comfortable home. Anthony is a caring, gracious host. This is a older house that has been nicely updated and is located on a tiny peaceful street very close to downtown Mount Airy. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. Comfortable beds. A gorgeous Christmas tree for us to enjoy, beautiful decorations throughout the house, comfortable beds, amazing fluffy towels, an electric fireplace for those colder December evenings. The front porch swing was a quiet place to read in the sun. We enjoyed downtown Mount Airy as well as nearby sights in Virginia and North Carolina. NC Zoo in Asheboro is a must-see if the weather is nice! Pilot Mountain offers fun trails. If you're a history fan, there are plenty of historic places and museums in Greensboro and Winston-Salem.

The house is immaculate and the host has endeavored to supply the needs of guests staying in a rental property. He is very accessible. We will come back to this house.

We came to town from Missouri to attend Bottomley Enterprises truck show and visit some Mayberry sights. This house was a great location for our trip. Very clean, easy transaction. Host communication was great and he made sure our trip was went off without a hitch. Would definitely stay again if we return.
