We have stayed here 2 times now, good house for groups, kitchen is stocked, comfortable stay.

Close to lake and nice walk to town. Kitchen and front bath are nicely appointed and relatively new. Lots of cookware, utensils, serving ware in the kitchen! Lovely deck with plenty of space for eating outdoors. Living room and house decor are "old Twain Harte" lodge style - cozy and reminded me of the vacations I took in TH as a child and teen. Only negative is that both bathrooms are downstairs and the back shower is very small. Inconvenient for those staying upstairs.
We had a very wonderful family weekend - all the kids and grandkids, 8 of us in all.

Our family has been coming to Twain Harte for over 50 years and this was one of favorite stays. The cabin is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed for family dinners along with a charcoal and gas grill. We spent most of our time outside on the spacious deck. We enjoyed the games and ping pong table. We are looking forward to coming back again on the future.

The location simply can’t be beat. Easily walk to town for coffee or meals but far enough to feel like you're in the woods. The home is very cozy yet spacious, and we loved the large deck. The kitchen is fully stocked and the beds were all comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had a great stay at the cabin. Very clean and comfortable. Dan is nice and great with communication. Perfect location, within walking distance to town. I’d love to come back in the summer to enjoy the deck and lake.

It was our first time going to a cabin right after Christmas, and I have to say that this Cabin was comfortable for our party of 8. We just feel like we would like to stay up higher so next time we won't have to drive up to the snow. Overall, a nice cabin with all the essentials needed.

Wonderful cabin
My daughters and I had a great time at this cabin. It is tastefully renovated but retained the cabin charm that I was hoping for. The location is great since it is walking distance to town, and very close to Twain Harte lake. I would highly recommend it.

Very nice house. Combination of country feel with upgraded amenities. Very nice outdoor deck with plenty of room. Well situated to town, golf course and lake. Very comfortable for my wife and our 2 adult children.

Great property to rent, clean and spacious! We rented it for our family of 4 but it could easily fit 6-7 more ppl. Love that it’s walking distance to downtown and only a short drive to the lake. We took advantage of the outdoor space/deck area and bbq’d each night. We enjoyed our adult beverages while relaxing on the outdoor furniture and fireplace. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The property was great for us. However, it would have been nice to have a bathroom on 2nd floor with the upstairs bedrooms. We worked it out -having 2 bathrooms was the main priority.

It started snowing on Christmas Eve and kept snowing through till the 26th. We had to dig the cars out and load up to get out before another snow event.

Crazy snow storm
We reserve this property months ago to stay after Christmas through the new year. Due to an Incredibles snowstorm we were barely able to get to the property which had no electricity. Dan the cabinet owner was so gracious and helpful in helping us find a hotel and communicating about the current condition. Unfortunately the electricity was not regained and we were never able to stay at the cabin. We were given a full refund and hopefully we can come back sometime in the future!!

The cabin was very nicely remodeled and had a great fireplace. There was plenty of space for our group. Nice kitchen, we had everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch and dinners. This cabin was very comfortable. It was very well stocked, especially in the kitchen. I think the only thing I couldn't find was a coffee scoop. The mattress in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The remodeled bathroom was lovely. I really liked the baskets for storing each individuals toiletries.
My most favorite spot was the green rocker on the deck. Very peaceful place to sit and enjoy nature.

Clean, well-appointed, and quiet cabin with A/C in great location. Had a wonderful time of relaxation with family. Already thinking about returning next year!
