Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is lovely and very spacious. We were quite disappointed that neither of the two fireplaces in the home were functional. The managers were never able to locate a remote for the one in the living room and the controls did not work. The one located in the downstairs bedroom doesn't even have an insert. Being that we were visiting in February, this was one of the main features that caused us to rent this home. Not to mention, that a cold front moved in while we were there. The decks really need some maintenance and repair. It rained while we were there and although the hot tub is covered, the boards above are rotting and water leaked onto us and the bottom porch area.The neighborhood is nice and quiet (except for the construction on the house in front of us that continued until after 9:00 pm one night).The beach is just a short stroll away and we enjoyed our walks each morning.

Whispering Oaks was a beautiful home, spacious, meticulous, and well appointed. Perfect in every way for our family of six. The interior was bright and cheerful with an open floor plan and vaulted ceilings. The nearby beach was easily accessible down a large, pebbled path. We had a few questions during our stay, and the East Islands Rentals management team responded quickly. We look forward to a return stay and would definitely recommend Whispering Oaks to others.
