This was our second stay in this property. It really felt like settling in at home. The property is beautiful and so welcoming and well cared for. The photos are completely accurate. The owners are gracious, helpful, friendly and incredibly generous with anything that you could want. The property has every amenity to make your stay happy and comfortable. The deck is so relaxing. You are close to everything but in a lovely and quiet part of the city. Our family simply loves staying here.

This house was wonderful and just as it looks in the photos online! It felt like a home, rather than a rental property and it even passed my white sock test (I wear white socks and walk around to see how black they get from unclean floors…my socks stayed white)!! Lots of extra towels, lots of extra toilet paper, and no skimping on garbage bags and paper towel rolls! Jamie was so responsive and accommodating prior to our stay as well as during our stay. She even put out the patio cushions for us! Sadly, it was pretty cold in the mornings and we were out and about all day, so never got to enjoy using it. The property is not in downtown Victoria, but I actually preferred it that way. It was literally a 7 minute drive into town and when we were done exploring, we were able to leave the action and relax in a quiet neighborhood. If I have to think of a con, I guess it might be that the master shower is a little small for me…but that’s mainly because I still shower my little one. Hot water was plenty and water pressure great. If Jamie ever allows small dogs, I’ll be renting this house when I bring my pup to Victoria next time!

Next time I’ll make sure we’re closer to downtown, tricky without a car and having a baby on board

This home is really well laid out. We spent Christmas here - five adults and one ten-year old. We were snowed in by the storm, but the driveway had been shoveled when we arrived. A Christmas tree was set up and decorated in the living room, and we used the open-concept space to cook, lounge, and curl up by the excellent gas-powered fireplace. We did a lot of cooking, and were impressed by the cookware and kitchen amenities. Despite inclement weather, we were able to walk to a mini-mall on Bay st. Later, when the weather improved, we walked to the Gorge Inlet park, which was magical. With a foggy lagoon and wetlands hosting all kinds of waterfowl and willow trees, we were in heaven. Downtown is a 7-minute drive away, and the Spiral cafe and a bakery is about ten minutes away. Beds were very comfortable, with en suite full bath in the master and a full bath for the two upstairs bedrooms. There is a full laundry room upstairs. There is another toilet in the main floor. Finally, there is an office space at the front of the house for those who need to work apart from the crowd in the open part of the house. This trip was clearly in the winter, so we can’t comment on the back yard deck, but it was pretty all covered in snow. Highly recommended. Paul

One of the rare occasions when the actual property exceeds expectations.... looks better than the online pictures! Back deck and huge kitchen were awesome bonuses. Very welcoming host, including a wonderful welcome note and bottle of their families Cider! Location was superb, 10min from everything downtown and easy access to highways up the island. Would definitely stay there again....so, obviously, we would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Victoria! Cheers, Team BASS

We had a very nice stay. There were 6 adults. There was plenty of room for all. Well equipped kitchen. It does look larger than it is in the pictures. About 10 minutes to the Empress Hotel and Museum. Victoria is a wonderful place to Visit.

We were thrilled with the home that we rented. It was perfect for us. Everything is as depicted in the photos. The home is pristinely clean. All appliances worked great. The beds and furniture were comfortable. It's close to almost everything if you have a vehicle (we did, so we didn't need to look at whether transit would meet our needs). We got prompt responses to any inquiries made to the owners. There were no problems at all. Our main ask was to get the cushions for the deck furniture - which they understandably didn't yet have out because of what the weather had been - and those were placed on the furniture by the time we returned later the same day. If we have any quibble it would be that there's no cable tv, and we wanted to watch some live sports. They provide Fire Stick devices for each TV, but ask that you not try to log in as yourself and the streaming services they have are Prime and Netflix, so there could be limitations on TV viewing from what some guests would want. We solved that by buying a couple of my own Fire Sticks (needed them anyway) and using those instead. That's a very minor quibble, though, and it wasn't hard for me to address. The upshot is that we loved the house, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we need 2 or 3 bedrooms in the Victoria area. It gets our highest recommendation. Thanks so much to the owners for being such wonderful hosts and providing us with the perfect place to stay.

This property is located in an older neighborhood - lots of character. Grocery store, bakery, walking trails all within walking distance. The house is bright and cheerful. Convenient to downtown area. We found that not all the beds were comfortable and would of appreciated a few more dishes and kitchen appliances.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely modern home. It was easy to be together but also we were all able to have private time in the comfortable bedrooms. The host was very responsive when messaging. Other than no snow shovel it was an awesome stay.
