Boaties delight, this is a superbly well-presented and well-equipped and very comfortable large family holiday house. In quiet and peaceful surroundings. Perfect getaway from hustle and bustle on mainland. We enjoyed the walks along the beach, and the kayaking and swimming in the canal. Short boat rides to The Bedroom. Heaps of activities for our large family of 3 generations ranging from 12yr old to 77yr old. We love the absence of shops and general feeling of calm.

Fantastic property, Phil (owner) and Claudia (manager) great people. Couple of "party" houses either side of us over weekend brought mood down (relentless drinking and colourful language - not great for kids). Not too bad when we were inside, but did detract from the "vibe". But the property and people who own / manage it were great, can't fault that.

Great place with everything thought of. We had a board meeting/weekend with ten people coming from all over Australia. A very well appointed kitchen, two outdoor bbqs, 8 person spa and really nice bedrooms with super comfy beds. This place has everything!

Absolutely beautiful house. Full of heaps of extras - bikes, paddleboards, games cupboard, fully stocked kitchen - more than what you'd have in your own home.

We recently spent a week at The Islander with our family from SA. The property is beautifully equipped with all the necessities to enjoy a home away from home. Very spacious home with great size bedrooms, Would highly recommend this property. Nothing required just your food, beers and swimmers! Great friendly hosts, professional and excellent communication. Thanks Ken and Claudia for looking after us, we will be back!

This property was perfect for our purposes. We had three families of 4 and had plenty of space and activities for us all (kids 12-16 years). The bikes were a big hit, as were the kayaks. It was fantastic to have the pool option too.
Jay was super-responsive to all our queries and was a great host. The kitchen had every gadget we could possibly need (except a rolling pin!), and having two dishwashers made our lives so much easier.
The house decor was starting to look a bit tired but rumour has it there may be a refresh in the coming months.

Felt like we were at a luxury tropical retreat especially how the master bedroom was decorated, encapsulating a calming Bali sanctuary feel.

There was excitement from the whole family the moment we landed on that pontoon as the house looked amazing from the water. The interior was very well presented and in immaculate condition. Felt like we were at a luxury tropical retreat especially how the master bedroom was decorated, encapsulating a calming Bali sanctuary feel.
The whole family had a ball and we definitely took advantage of the amenities available from the outdoor bar fridges for fun beverages, bikes, kayaks, fishing & the pool.
The house had everything we needed and so it felt like a home away from home.
