We loved the neighborhood and the house was charming. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the home. It really needs to be scrubbed from top to bottom. There was only 1 dish towel in the kitchen. It just seemed to us that the owners wanted to list on vrbo as quickly as possible with the least amount of investment possible. Could be so much better with just a bit more effort.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved swinging on the front porch! The property could have been cleaner and the sheets were terrible. They were incredibly stiff and uncomfortable to sleep on. However, we still enjoyed our stay.

This home is in what appears to be a well established provate residential area yet convenient to downtown. Nice mature home.

We were in town to attend our daughter’s OCS graduation at Ft. Moore. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. It was in a quiet, safe neighborhood conveniently located to restaurants and an easy drive to Ft Moore. Communication with the property manager was excellent. We will definitely choose this house again if we’re ever back in Columbus.

We were in town to see our son graduate from basic training over at Fort Benning and this property provided the perfect base camp for our stay in and around Columbus. Highly recommend you look at staying in this property if you're visiting the area.

There is nothing in life that is better than peace. This location was the best thing that there was to offer and I look to come back agian. No sirens, police cars or antyhting correlated to city life. I enjoyed the amenities and the space that was provided. The old charm was great in my eyes.

We needed a place with adequate space for a brief visit with local family members. It is comfortable, quaint and in a lovely established neighborhood. Safe for families.

Good place to stay in Columbus. Convenient to downtown and in a good area.

This place is a diamond in the rough as far as Columbus goes. I was very pleased to find how nice this place was considering it was in the center of town. It is a nice property in downtown that is a beautiful historic property built around 1920. Yes, this means some of the doors are going to stick and be hard to open and close. Pros: The house was clean and the grass was recently cut. There was plenty of silverware and dishes for all 8 people in my party. Cons: There were a few wiring issues such the front porch fan and light being inoperative and a couple other lights that were possibly just bulb related. The backyard was a little overgrown, ivy wise. Also, the gas grill outback was not cleaned regularly and seemed too much of a risk to mess with. All in all, me and my family loved this place and would most definitely stay here again. Just a few small details that could be better inspected prior to a guest's arrival would make this place as close to perfect as you can get!

First off the pictures are not actually how the inside looks.. they had a blanket covering the sofa due to it being old and stained ..... the floors was so dirty as soonas we got there i had to sweep. There is no remote for the tv in the living room...everything is out dated..... they claim it is pet friendly however they charged me additional money , stating it was because there was dog hair on the sofa on beds... My dog is hypoallergenic... shedoes not shed.she'd.. they charged me 40 dollars for a bedsheet that my son got dirty do to eating ice cream. 40 dollars for a sheet set that just had to be put in the washer... I would never recommend this place to anyone. The owners are rude aswell

Renting this property was great, flexible with our needs, plenty of space for all and a convenient location. Just wished the property had been mowed as we were unable to use the backyard due to high grass. Comfortable front porch chairs would have been nice to enjoy the great inviting space. Would definitely rent again!

The house was very comfortable very nice everything was good the only thing that could be taken care of is the backyard is in very need of a good weekends worth of work but other than that everything else was really good.

If you’re a guy or don’t mind living like a bachelor, this place will be great for you. Good location, wonderful porch, comfortable mattresses with plenty of them, all the right rooms. If you don’t like living like a bachelor, don’t stay here. I’m not sure the sheets were actually changed before we arrived - this is based on the stuff I tried to sweep out of the master bed and the hair on the pillow. The master shower feels great but is riddled with mildew. The sheets don’t really fit the bed well, so you wake up every day to a totally unmade bed. The hall bathroom had hair in and around the tub plus in the corners. I neglected to bring slippers, so I would either feel the dirt on the living room carpet or pick it up on my socks. Finally, there is a strange smell, as if trying to cover up what used to be a smokers’ house. So, again, if that kind of stuff doesn’t bother you, you’ll be fine.

We stayed here for a wedding in Columbus and loved the location - couldn't have been better. What a nice, quaint, Southern neighborhood and a lovely home. Really enjoyed our stay.

The home was in a cute neighborhood and was a cute home with cozy furnishings. My parents took the master suite, which was huge. My sister and her son took one room and my family took the other. I slept on one of the trundles and slept pretty well. Some of the linens looked dirty and smelled like cologne. Not sure if it was air freshener or something because a few pillows smelled like they were recently used by a man. The home was well stocked with amenities that were great! The communication was great and timely and check out instructions were super simple. My only complaint is really about the cleanliness. You can tell it was lightly cleaned before we got there but the place needs a good deep clean. The windowsills were all very dirty and with small kids, it’s at perfect hand level. There was several areas that had thick dust on them, like the tiles in the restroom and the mirrors. The floors seemed clean but the rugs were dirty and the couch was covered in blankets, which had dog hair on them. The landscapers also came during our visit but literally only did half of the yard and the backyard looks scary so we had the kids play in the beautiful front yard. It just seems like the owner probably has a few properties and hasn’t had a chance to check the house. The layout and set up of the home was good and I would stay there again if the place got a good deep clean.
