Overall the house is good. I would say the property definitely needs some repairs and maintenance. It is advertised as a very posh stay but there are a number of little things that could use work: 1 - the house was mostly clean when we checked in but you could tell it was a quick clean - the stairs and carpets were filthy and bathrooms were decently clean. 2 - there is a big bundle of speaker wire in the corner of the living room - just coming out of the wall - odd 3- there is water damage starting on the kitchen ceiling as the bathrooms upstairs are not properly grouted or sealed 4 - there are exposed wires in the laundry room 5 - the trees around the property need a lot of maintenance - they’re overgrown and some need to be removed - the play set for kids in the back is almost unusable as the slide goes right into a tree 6- the hot tub supposedly has a part coming but it’s going to have to be replaced as the cover is totally torn up and the whole thing is getting ruined 7 - the bbq is filthy, doesn’t work quite right and the natural gas line going to it is pretty stretched and doesn’t look safe 8 - the place just needs some paint and a deep clean It could be the house it’s advertised to be but it seems neglected a bit - especially for the price I’d expect a little more attention to detail.

Great place with lots to do around Bayfield and area as well as lots to keep us busy at the house.
